Located on the entrance of westgate, so easy to access. I had the Sunday and it’s pretty feeling, perfect to share. Nice quality chocolate. Friendly service

Sitting here for a festive hot chocolate after some last minute shopping.I asked the person making the chocolate to please clean off a table which she did not do. Found an empty table see second photo . Seat probably has not had a good wipe down in days.Mince pie hot chocolate delicious. Salted caramel mandarins hot chocolate, very underwhelming. Do like their chocolate but first & last time in for a hot chocolate.

Chocolat is an incredible place in Oxford if you are a chocolate lover. From various artisan chocolates to fancy stuffs, it's a shop worth visiting even if you don't want to buy anything - just to see the lovely collection. They also sell authentic chocolate liqueur, cocoa powder and materials for hot chocolate. Their in-house hot chocolate, ice-chocolate shake and ice creams are worth every penny. I would personally recommend Classic chocolate shake or dark (70%) hot chocolate if you love dark chocolate.

What a fab experience. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. And the products they sell are amazing quality. It was lovely to sit in the cafe area and enjoy a little ice cream treat!! Would definitely recommend a visit.

Chocolates here are incredibly delicious, they also served hot drinks. I ordered their signature hot chocolate which was a truly good. Highly recommended. Seat-in area is clean and the staff was very hospitable.

I love this chocolate place! Has some of the best chocolate I have ever tasted. My personal favorite is the salted caramel flavor. Absolutely delicious! It also goes well with popcorn if you like a salty, sweet kind of flavor. I also received a birthday box of chocolate from here and loved the packaging and flavor options. Get the loyalty card and receive reward points in the future for discounts. The store has chocolate liquor, hot and cold drinks and a variety of chocolate items to choose from! Wonderful staff and who are always willing to help or provide recommendations. There is a small sitting area to have a chocolate flavored drink. The store is wheelchair accessible. Prices are fair as well! Highly recommend for chocolate lovers!

The Iced choc shake is to die for. They have amazing mouse truffle chocolates and unique caramel tart chocolate. It is definitely my go to place once a week for their amazing choc shake. Lovely and vibrant little corner in Westgate.

Quality product. My mother loved the chocolates. So good my only comparison is, makes Thortons look like a bar of Cadbury's. Too harsh, i think not.Go and buy some .So much more than just a chocolate shop. Somewhere you'd want to stay. Um,mmm like a Hotel Chocolate of course. Sorry but still no 5 stars. If life was perfect i would be sitting here writing this from a chocolate bath😇

I have been at this place many Many of times, since last 6 weeks I have been 5 time and every time I was use a toilet the staff saying out of order. I'm diabetic I need to use a toilet quite often That's not fear for customers and for disable people. I hope they will open it again for customers

Hotel Chocolat are really falling behind, limited ranges for dietary needs. No Lactose range, only dark chocolate and no vegan choices, we did ask. Surprising as now available at most supermarkets. Pity, used to enjoy. The sales assistant was helpful, but offered the best he could.

This is my go to place for buying all chocolate related gifts. I must have bought the "Happy Birthday" chocolate selection box 3 or 4 times over the past month alone! Staff are friendly and great at helping you find the right products to suit certain dietary needs. Their seating area is normally very busy as it's small but I highly recommend staying in for a hot drink or ice cream if there's the space!

The store was clean and quiet. The young lady behind the cashier came over with a treat and had a little chat before allowing us to browse at our pace. When our selections were made, she continued with our previous conversation and even got me to sign up for the vip card when I admitted this was a birthday treat. A little expensive and some of the flavours are plain bizarre (although there must be some people who like them so don't take my word on that). The Christmas and summer collections are my favourites, but there are some great tester slabs and chocolates too. Also the bodycare range is lovely.

Clare made us a yummy Hazelnut-Chocolat-Coconut-Milk-Latte-with-Chocolat-Whipped-Cream-and-White-Chocolat-Sprinkles and a 85%-Hot-Chocolat (not so exciting, but well). Super friendly service and good drinks. Only for stars because of the slightly above reasonable pricing.

Very helpful and friendly staff - don't be afraid to ask if you aren't sure what you want. They have an impressive variety of chocolate on offer and they have squeezed a cafe in too. The 100% chocolate drink with coconut milk is near perfection.

Decent hotel chocolat branch, with a cafe where you can get coffee, tea or hot chocolate. So basically the setup is the same as you'd expect in every hotel chocolat. I stopped here to a couple of the seasonal hot chocolates. A caramel one and a cinnamon one. The cinnamon one was particularly good, its a little expensive but probably the best hot chocolate I've had. Can't comment on the chocolate itself, it all looks good but expensive.

This is the better (and larger) of the two HC stores in Oxford. The choice is good, and there's a small cafe inside as well. It can get very busy at key times (e.g. Christmas, Valentines, etc) but usually it's easy to shop here. The staff are friendly too.
