When into town to buy a suit came home with these 2 boxes of bitesize delights (the fact they were half price just sweetened the deal) I wished I had taken photos of the selections, needless to say they were fabulous, the Treacle Tart and the Carrot Cake with real carrot are both noteworth of mention from the Patisserie selection, whilst the Caramel Cheesecake and the Peanut Butter were 2 standouts from the sublime offering in the Everything selection. Only down size was the kilo I seemed to have gained, but the enjoyment was everything and definitely worth it. As with all things "Hotel Chocolaty" worth every penny. Will buy again only this time I shall consume whilst using a little more will power.

Very delicious place to be in! 🤣... Had to get out before I bought the shop!...lots of options available whether you want vegan chocolate to dark etc etc got some Turkish delights and ginger chocolates! Yep...epic! 🤤It's that kind of variety that makes customers come back all the time, other places just can't do what these guys do! Very clean and tidy store, staff are very friendly and helpful... Knew what I wanted straight away but everything is very clear and precise! Prices are good, but it just depends on what you want? 🤷‍♂️Disabled friendly and access to the store is wide and open all round! 5*

Always a wonderful treat to visit Hotel Chocolat. The Southampton store is located in West Quay shopping centre which has a great variety of stores and eating places. The chocolates are of premium quality, and also sell their own brand drinking chocolates and machines, latest variety is Black Forest just right for those cold winter days and Christmas

Lovely chocolate. Ethical ideals and a variety of products to educate and surprise people with the uses of cacao. The cost is value compared to the quality and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable

Disappointed the staff didn't engage with me. After my purchase the next customer was told about discounts for buying additional products! Maybe my face didn't fit 🤣 Store has good choice. Some Christmas items along side usual products.

Went in today and the customer service was great the employee was very nice and was constantly helping me out. The shop had variety of chocolate choices and they all looked great for gifts as well as them having their own gift bags and cards

Love a good hotel chocolat. They are always handing out samples, a little expensive but it's a specialist shop so wouldn't expect anything else. The 3 for £10 packets are good value for the quality of the chocolate. Friendly staff always willing to help out and very chatty with the kids too

Hotel Chocolat have been a contributory company in regularly making my wallet lighter, due solely to the delicious chocs they have on sale. I went to the West Quay store in Southampton before boarding my ship for a cruise. Always nice to have good quality chocs in the fridge, especially on holiday! I bought their delicious 40% milk buttons and macadamias in milk chocolate. All eaten within a couple of days unfortunately!

The best and most varied chocolate selection around. The price is high so best to enjoy as a special treat. It's always worth checking for discounts, items that are close to sell-by date are often 50% off and still perfectly fine.

Hi..Today, 14.11.19...myself and two friends went into Hotel Chocolat in West Quay....in the evening..possibly about 7.30ish... I really want to commend the two amazing young people working there today...they were absolutely fantastic...A young man and a young girl..both at Uni..the young man was so polite .. a credit to his parents..also the young girl...I'm not sure of their names... but Hotel Chocolat...I really think you are extremely lucky to have them working for you..treat them well... they are amazing....Thank you Kind regards Pam xxx

A classic case of pay for what you get There are cheaper alternatives, however the quality is second to none. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, selections is great, and the product..... If you want cheep chocolate, go to pound land. If you want great chocolate, go here.

There is no point in buying any of those little bags . They are just not big enough ! I bought a box of some of everything for about £22.00 . GORGEOUS !! Keep it in the fridge though as hard chocolate lasts longer in the mouth .

I always love a hotel chocolat the staff are always peacefully cheerful and let you browse the lovely chocolates at will. Nice selection but I don't think this shop stocked everything (understandable due to floor space) and be aware that all hotel chocolat is pricey so good for a really special treat

The chocolates in this place are second to none, even putting Thorntons to shame! (Personal opinion of course and it's not to say that I don't like Thorntons!). The only problem is that the price is pretty steep, but you cannot argue with the incredible quality and choice of chocolates. Beautifully made and ideal as gifts, as well as a treat for yourself!

Who cares about the fantastic shopping centre surrounding it?. . Who cares that there is ample parking to be had? . . Who cares Thorntons is in the same building? When it comes to the most important foodstuff on planet earth, HOTEL CHOCOLATE are God's compared to all the inferior purveyors of this heavenly concoction , you'll just have to take time out to visit them all just to compare for piece of mind.....you know you will!?!?.
