Went in looking for a camera tripod. Friendly staff were willing to give a demo and explain the pros and cons of different tripods. Picked out a nice mid range one which I'm excited to use. It was also a bit cheaper then other online retailers and I find that the prices in general are quite competitive.

I've been buying about 90% of my camera equipment from T4 Cameras in Swindon over the last 10 years and have had first class service from them. Their prices are competitive and all of their used equipment has been thoroughly checked before going on display and comes with a warranty. If you see something advertised on line at their other shop in Witney they can normally get it sent over by the following day for you to take a look at. Great shop with very knowledgeable staff!!

I don't know where the one star review went shopping but it wasn't the same place as me. All my emails were answered on the same day whilst the repair of my camera was arranged and they kept me informed of developments without me having to ask first. My camera was sent back using a next day courier, which I think is excellent service. If I ever need a camera bit I know where I'll look first (and my friends...)

Recently purchased an EOS 6D from the guys in the Swindon branch. Very smooth transaction. Although the camera wasn't in stock with them they were able to order it in promptly. Good old fashioned customer service. Polite, attentive and excellent communication. Attributes so often lost in these days of national chain stores. Thanks guys - be seeing you again soon!

Just purchased a camera for my wife as a birthday present and I must say the service and price were perfect. Years ago, I found out on the Web that this store had a used Vivitar Series 1 600mm Solid Cat lens. I'd always wanted one and their price was really good. I emailed them and had them put the lens aside for me long enough for me to travel from California to London by air (a pre-arranged business trip) and then to take the train from London to Swindon to pick up the lens. I walked from the train station to the store. The lens was there when I arrived. They let me mount the lens on my Canon 20D, shoot a few images outside the store to make sure the lens was OK, and then buy the lens. Total time: 20 minutes tops in the store. This is probably my best story of camera store service. These are good people and I highly recommend this store.

Good choice of equipment at not-quite lowest shop prices but countered by great service. They don't seem to stock as much refurbished goods as they did a few years ago. I still visit them from time to time despite living on the Surrey-Hampshire border

Recently bought a DSLR The Nikon D7100, Nikon SB910 Speedlight and a decent Camera Bag from these guys. I received fantastic service and very knowledgeable staff, who are only to willing to explain things to you and show you how they work. I couldn't rate this store or the staff more highly :-)

Excellent shop. Was expecting to have to have my DSLR sent away but chap suggested I DIY and save myself money and explained what I needed and how to do it. Fantastic service.
