We have been coming to St Mawes every year for 20+ years now and for the last few years, one of our favourite places to visit for food is Mr Scorse! Although they are famous for their crab sandwiches/baguettes (which we agree are lovely), for us, nothing quite beats their smoked salmon, cream cheese, leaves and dill baguettes. Absolutely full to the brim with high quality smoked salmon, it's well worth the money. We also had one of the chicken, chorizo, mustard mayo and leaves baguettes, just wonderful! On first look, it might seem like the price is a little steep but these are freshly made baguettes with the highest, freshest ingredients possible. Also thoroughly enjoyed the pasties and cakes we tried (especially the cookie dough brownie!). If you go to St Mawes and don't visit Mr Scorse, you are missing out. It doesn't get much better than this. Already looking forward to my visit next year!

Called in for lunch & had excellent crab baguettes followed by a delicious lemon polenta cake & very good coffee. Proper job!!

The deli store to this is good with a great selection of products & wines. The café side is quite limited with a small selection of tea, coffees & sandwiches. Seating is outside where there is a patio heater & blanket for the colder days. The seat padding & knee blanket were a little dirty could do with a wash. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful.

Great selection of food with an interesting selection of different things. Great crab sandwich. We visit here all the time for a warm welcome and quality baked goods. Great pasties, rolls and cakes. It's a firm favourite with our son especially the vegan carrot cake.

Adorable little deli in the mews/arcade area of St Mawes. Bought lots of lovely clementines from their fresh fruit and veg stand outside. The shop was filled with gorgeous smells and foodie delights.

Had chilled cans of Verdant beer to takeaway, and really good looking food. We had the crab salad (sadly they ran out of bread by 2:30pm). They had a couple of tables outside and would deliver the food to you once you ordered inside.

Every time I visit this Deli I discover something new and delicious to try, whether it is cheese, wine, gin, or amazing baguettes - the quality is superb and it is run by the friendliest, most helpful team - nothing is too much trouble. Whether I am passing on my way to work for a coffee, or grabbing a sandwich for lunch, it is always wonderful. If I need a bottle of wine, I ask Jon for a recommendation & he always gets it right. I have also never had a crab baguette that tastes as good as the ones from Mr Scorse Deli!! ....For a small village business that is always in demand by tourists, I congratulate the Deli for always providing the best quality and service to all who cross the threshold. Well done Mr Scorse & team, you are wonderful and a true asset to St Mawes!

Went down last week to this place. Got served by a lovely lady (didn't catch her name). Had the best chicken and chorizo baguette going, washed down with a cracking cup of coffee. Went away with a full tummy and a bag of goodies - including some pretty special gin ;) Would definitely recommend.

I have visited this gem of a deli on numerous occasions, and I have seen for myself that customer service and the quality of goods on sale are second to none. That is why it gets so busy, and I feel that the end result is certainty worth waiting for. The best filled baguettes ever !!

Great pasties. Heated up in the oven in a few minutes. Steak had just the right amount of pepper. Cheese and onion pasties were excellent (so I was told). Eaten in small seated area outside. Perfect.
