What a breath of fresh air. This place is just fantastic. The selection of drinks is first class and there's something for everyone. It's really nice to have a watering hole where the landlord is as much into the drinks as the customers. Chris is very knowledgeable with his trade and likes to share the enthusiasm if you with to chat. I asked Chris if he could do me a special monthly crew box, to which when he knew what kind of drinks I was after was more than happy. I shall definitely visit again and again.

Brilliant selection both on tap and in the fridges. Sit in or takeaway, this is the best beer in Stockton Heath. Lots of knowledge behind the bar, and always happy to help you make a good selection. Nice space inside up and downstairs, and they do national and free local delivery. Absolutely top notch

Absolutely thrilled with my online order, it was a gift for my sons birthday. I was given some excellent advice by Chris when I phoned Anchor & Hops. I had no idea what to order and how to go about it, Chris made several suggestions of choices of different drinks to include my order. A selection of bottled and canned beers & lagers was boxed up and delivered as planned. I would highly recommend, the service and products and suggest speaking to Chris who was very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to visit the premises in Stockton Heath, looks atmospheric, attractive and interesting. My son was thrilled with his doorstep birthday present, thanks Chris and all at Anchor & Hops.

Very cool little place with really chill vibes. The chap who owns / runs it is super friendly and knowledgable if you have any questions or don't know what you fancy. Taps change regularly, plenty of rotating cans and bottles in the fridges to choose from whether to enjoy there or take home. Great place - highly recommend.
