From initial call to repairs being carried out Longridge Locksmiths were excellent. Kept in touch and came when they said they would. I have had a new handle to a jammed wooden window replaced (haven’t been able to open for over a year) along with a new handle to another window. They replaced a locking mechanism to my wooden front door, which has made my house more secure than the original single mortice lock and has given me peace of mind. Workmanship carried out to an excellent standard. Highly recommended.

A family member accidentally got a key stuck in her door and the door would not lock, so we had to call out Longridge Locksmiths to repair. They arrived 20mins later despite it being a Saturday evening and proceeded to remove the old lock and key and replace with a new one. The service was professional and quick thanks to Chris' experience and the huge array of specialist tools that they carry. I can't fault their work. The locksmith (Chris Singleton) arrived promptly following my call. He quickly identified the problem, replaced the broken part, re-aligned the door jamb and replaced any worn parts of the lock including the barrel. He provided 3 new and cut 3 extra keys for the new lock. All sorted in approximately 30 minutes, possibly less. Lock and door functioning like new. So, prompt, smart, efficient and local, what's not to like.

I had a broken lock on our lounge window. Called Longridge Locksmiths Ltd and he came out that same day. The job took him less than 30 minutes to remove the old locking handle and fit a new one and he also swept up after himself. He was cheerful, efficient, punctual and excellent value for money.
