He was also very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. We asked him to return to carry out an assessment of all the locks of our many doors and windows. On a Sunday evening I found myself locked out of my flat due to the door lock being broken and jammed. I called Nathan and he arrived within 15 mins. It’s a sturdy wooden door with a triple lock system, and although it was difficult, his experience got us back in without incurring any further damage to the door or frame. He assessed the situation and identified that we needed a replacement mechanism. As it was a Sunday night, it wasn’t possible to pick up the parts then, so he fashioned a temporary fix for the night to make sure we were secure. He picked up the parts the next morning when the suppliers were open and fitted it right away. Excellent work. Efficient, polite and a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Imagine my horror on a Friday at 5.30pm my kitchen window lock failed. I looked on Google for local locksmiths and chose Nathan from Lockfit. I rang and explained my predicament. He was on my doorstep wearing a mask and keeping his distance within half an hour. My lock was replaced quickly and professionally and his charge was very reasonable and didn't include an emergency callout charge. Nathan was a gentleman who gave me confidence to ask him to check other older locks. He assessed that these would benefit from a more secure locking barrel without any hard sell. These locks were changed within three days of order being placed. Nathan gave me peace of mind in my own home and what I considered to be 'old fashioned service' which is unfortunately lacking these days. Highly recommended.
