Dave responded really quickly to my initial call about a worn out front door lock. He suggested I WhatsApp a few photos so he could order the right replacement lock for me. We sorted a convenient time for him to do the work once he’d got the new lock. He arrived when he said he would which is always good! The lock was replaced quickly and all the new keys work fine. Dave’s a nice chap and I’d definitely call him again if we have any other lock issues!

Needed somebody to fix the broken lock mechanism on my conservatory UPVC door. I have to say from the initial telephone enquiry through to completing the job, Dave was very polite and explained everything he was doing. He was on site within 1.5 hours (even though it was not an emergency) and he replaced the mechanism gearbox, serviced the locking strips and re-aligned the door to overcome a knock when closing it. Overall, quick, professional and good value and I have no hesitation in recommending Dave to others

Used Dave as he was local - he was able to call up the same day. He immediately identified the problem and carried out the repair (broken multi locking rail). He could have left it at that but went on to establish what had caused the failure (doors considerably out of alignment) and spent around an hour balancing the doors to prevent a recurrence. Now the doors close with a proper seal and the section of draft excluder the previous owner had stuck to the bottom of the door has been thankfully consigned to the bin. Fair price reflecting his knowledge and attention to detail.

At the start I just wanted to change the locks to my new house. It's always a gamble when choosing a tradesman, but after reading the reviews on here I chose Dave and I'm so glad I did. Dave managed to fit in a visit to change my locks before I went on holiday to give me peace of mind whilst I was away. As he did such a great job I asked Dave to come back to replace a few (PVC) window handles, align my patio doors and add restrictors to prevent future alignment problems. Dave (and his dad!) showed great skill, efficiency, patience, honesty, plenty of knowledge and experience, and was just generally a top guy!
