After trying to get a new door handle through my housing developer for 3 months with no joy, they then booked the job through Mr Locks to get the job done quicker. They ordered new door handles on the Tuesday, and they had arrived and were fitted on the Wednesday. Great service and so fast. We would have gone privately through the company ourselves if we’d have known how fast and effective the service was!

Mr Locks quoted me a fixed price for labour and parts, a large assortment of which he carries in his van so less need for more than one visit. Locking mechanism failed on my PVC door. Rang the company and they were at my address within 35 minutes from when i called. Gained entry to the house within 10 minutes - no damage to the door or frame when gaining entry. Replaced the multilock mechanism and carried out maintenance on the whole door - it's not worked that well for years; the engineer had all the parts with him on the van. Have managed to talk the wife out of replacing the whole door now! Prices were good - i wouldn't have been able to buy a replacement multilock mechanism from Screwfix for any less. Entry, Repair + maintenance took just over an hour; I'd rang at 15:30 and he was gone by 17:15. Didn't really want to get locked out of my house and have to pay to get back in but under the circumstances i got a great service. Would definitely recommend.

A tradesman who turns up when he says he will! I thought there was no such thing as miracles but when Mr Locks turned up for a 2pm appointment at exactly 2pm I realised miracles do happen! Joking aside Mr Locks turned up when he said he would did the job quickly and without making a mess. He also did some extra work I had forgotten to tell him about without it being a problem. All at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Mr Locks to anyone.

I was visiting my son and his family in Newport when the lock on their front door broke and we ended up locked out in the rain with 2 young children. I found Mr Locks online using my mobile phone, I rang and a locksmith arrived within 15 minutes. He was extremely polite, explained what he needed to do and quickly opened and replaced the lock leaving the door as good as new. I can’t praise the service enough, Mr Locks are approved by the Master Locksmiths Associaton and local which is why I called them, and they exceeded my expectations at a reasonable cost. The fastest locksmith in the west. No seriously, the man was only here for about 5 seconds flat. I'm not sure why my door decided to lock me out at 10pm on a Sunday but it did, these guys were the only ones I could get hold of in Cardiff. Evening call out on a Sunday was a tad unpleasant to deal with (~£100), but not over what I would expect to have to pay considering my housemate paid ~£50 for a day time lock out. Overall very pleased that I'm now snug back in my room eating popcorn and writing this review. Thanks very much Mr Locks Locksmiths!
