A. M.Great service! Managed to find a solution to fit a new door knob with our antique door pull with lock. The spindle couldn't attach with the new door knob so they modified the lock. Works perfectly and looks great!

He was a real gentleman - the way old school tradespeople used to be, as a rule. And I was even contacted by the store manager as the work was taking place to check all was well. All that, and it was only a small repair - but as I said, carried out with no fuss or drama. If only every supplier could be like this. I will be using them again if required.

P.Being in a bit of pickle with a key- I couldn't have hoped to find anywhere as understanding, competent and speedy as Duncan McLaren's Locksmiths. The gentleman who served me at around half 10 on the 28th of July was so helpful and a legend. If you're getting keys cut you won't find anywhere better than this.

A. B.I've been dealing with Duncan McLaren for decades and they're the best around, proper key cutters and locksmiths. Not cheap perhaps but then the product is quality and the service good. Great to get good old fashioned competency as well, they do what they say they'll do, at the time arranged and their work is sound and reliable. Their keys always work as well. I can only recommend them.
P. R.We got locked in our office and were recommended Duncan McLaren by another locksmith who was unable to attend. He turned up within half an hour and managed to release the lock on the door so we could exit the building. He explained that he would need to get a new 4 point lock keep - drove off to Leith, picked up the replacement part and fitted it. He was efficient, friendly and reasonably priced.
