Lockstar Lock & Key was recommended to me by both a locksmith, and by its stellar reviews on Edinburgh Trusted traders. I detailed a specific lock that I wanted installed, and Mark gave me an accurate estimate via email. He was on time, very professional and patient, had his mask and wore it properly. Plus, he was lovely to chat with, skilled, and very time-efficient. Fair pricing & Transparency Friendly & informative On time. Top-notch, trustworthy professional service. Excellent service today from Lockstar Lock and Key Co. Unfortunately snapped my key in my lock and phoned for an emergency repair on a Sunday. Mark was very helpful on the phone quoting the price and coming within 15minutes to repair / refit the lock. Polite well mannered person who explained what was required and went about his job very professionally. Can definitely recommend.

I could not recommend Mark enough if you are ever in need of a locksmith. A communal repair in a tenement can be a real headache without a factor however Mark’s professionalism and helpfulness made him an easy choice. Mark and Mark were fantastic. After getting my door kicked in, Mark 1 did an emergency fix within a couple of hours, giving good advice on how to claim insurance. Mark 2 then came round the following week, staying late to do a bang up job and going the extra mile to make it secure At all stages they were friendly, professional and skilled. Broke the key for my givi motorcycle luggage in the lock. I couldn't get it out with any tools so took it here and they not only managed to retrieve the broken part from the lock and unlock it, but also cut me a new key from the 2 pieces and reassembled the fiddly lock. Great service and really reasonable price.

Lockstar’s locksmith (I didn’t catch his name, young man with longer dark hair) came out to help my elderly neighbour who’s lock had gone. Came out on time and was very helpful, sorted him out in no time and tried to find ways to keep the good quality but very old lock he had - unfortunately so old the lock was no longer stocked. Incidentally I had been meaning to call a locksmith for weeks for my own front door - he kindly agreed to take a look, made some adjustments and fixed my door too in 2 minutes - with no charge. A really nice guy and would highly recommend

Mark from Lockstars went out of his way to get us back in the house, ensure we understood our security issues and gave me a lift to the cash machine (I was a damsel in distress!!!) I called Lockstars Edinburgh after finding them on google and after ringing a few companies, Mark got back to me via telephone and then within 5 minutes was at the doorstep. To give you context, my brother and I had ingeniously left our keys in the house and the 3rd key owner wasn't / isn't back for another 4 days. After 24 hours without no key - and all our belongings in the house, it was time to get a locksmith. 5 minutes later, Mark shows up… Spends about 5 minutes getting the paperwork and asking the right questions and then gets us back in. No key changes needed, no locks changed. Just direct Access. Mark then showed us how our house was vulnerable; what we could do to secure it further, and was generally very personable. To spend under £50 for the whole service is more than excellent; I have had been charged on average around £120 for something similar but with less personability. Go with Lockstars guys, they won't disappoint.

Lockstar opened a difficult lockup for me.Honest and dependable service. He wasn't able to finish job that day (he'd kindly slotted me in at short notice to his schedule) but returned next day and finished job, installing new lock.I reccomend Lockstar for all you're lock and entry needs.
