Called Steve in the morning after finding his number on Google and he was at my house within a couple of hours. The door lock on my front door was completely jammed and I couldn’t get in or out without a struggle. Steve replaced the lock for me and provided 5 new keys and also realigned my door as he noticed this wasn’t right and showed me how to re-align the door myself if I needed to in future. Steve provided the costs to me on the first call we had so there wasn’t any nasty surprises with fees. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Steve.

Full marks for Steve: - prompt responses and keeping in touch by email/text (by no means to be taken for granted) - clarity as to what will be done, with options and costs given upfront - in fact, part of the replaced lock was fine and stayed, saving £70 (rather than just replacing everything blindly) - no-nonsense but friendly approach. I thought I needed a new door , Steve came out and measured my door ordered the parts kept me up to date while he was waiting on parts , came out and fixed my door the locks and handles the door is like new, no draughts any more , I’m very pleased and would recommend Steve to anyone his workmanship was first class and saved me buying a new door .

This is the second time I have used this company. the first time years ago but we moved and our list of recommended tradesmen lost in the move but as luck would have it a chance call and Steve arrived at our door and we were relieved that our door was in good hands. Problem sorted, no fuss but the usual chatter. The man can talk. But at the end of the day our door now works and this time his number is stored on the sim and not just the contact list. Old school lol, it doesn't come natural.

We called these guys because our door had been playing up for the last while. It was an old door and we thought that it was on its last legs but he came out on time, we received a text message 30 mins prior and he fixed it. Turns out it was a minor problem but we being ignorant to the workings of our door didn't know but were expecting to fork out for it. An honest service and a locksmith service for the address book should we or our friends ever need a locksmith again
