A. l.My elderly mum lost her back door keys today and had left a key in the front door lock so I couldn’t get in with my spare key. I called David and he met us at her house half an hour later. Within ten minutes he had opened the locked door and replaced the lock with a brand new unit and 5 keys. The price was very reasonable for a quick and professional job, but the cost was more than worth it to have peace of mind for my mum. Thanks so much David. Highly recommended
E. H.Phoned B,L&D late at night - and quick callback by a very helpful David. Family carer - had been locked out (keys in locks from inside & vulnerable occupant fast asleep, unaware) - last hope, tried windows - & managed to clamber in one! Wide open window had then jammed open! Tried DIY-allsorts (inc YT videos, but none covered this one), so Help needed! David willing to come out - but we tried photo/Whatsapp diagnosis first - I followed David's instructions (loads of lubrication) & from a tiny sound, to noisy creaks (& yep-"give"!) to a functioning hinge & a window that could now safely close! Fabulous service for an unsafe situation - completely transformed (all within an hour). My mum has dementia - but my worries & the freezing cold were long gone when she awoke (to now a safe, secure & warm house). I would highly recommend David & B,L&D - couldn't have been more helpful, effective & solved a very tricky situation for me/us. I will be a returning customer for sure - brilliant immediate service when greatly needed. Relieved, so grateful & all sorted! Huge thanks David...

W.Phoned BL&D and David answered straight away (no, leave a message and I'll get back to you) and after explaining that our lock mechanism INSIDE the door had snapped into 2 pieces, David arranged to drop by as soon as he could. 45 minutes later he was on our doorstep. He was very polite, professional and efficient. We had a brand new mechanism (better than before) replaced and operating within half an hour. Prices were excellent and service 2nd to none. Highly recommended. Thanks again David.

P. T.Called David today about our door. He was out within an hour to us on his birthday (dedication right there) handle was spinning and not catching the mechanism. Had the door opened in seconds and thats no word of a lie seconds. New part was supplied and fitted at a fantastic price. I cannot stress how pleased we were in the work, speediness and his customer service making sure we knew what was happening and showing where the fault was. Will call again if needed and not consider anyone else.

Within 15 mins of calling he arrived and within another 10 mins had the fault lock replaced and fitted with a new lock and multiple new keys. G. B.Called David from BLD out late one night to gain access into a relatives home who had lost keys. Despite the time of the call out David was onsite within the hour and gained access without damaging the door or lock. Also called out to my wife’s business as a key was snapped in the lock. Very tricky job but David managed to get the broken key fragments out of the lock and again with no damage done. Can’t recommend BLD enough.
