Can't recommend enough! After accidentally locking myself out of the house this morning I called defender locksmiths, Lee was brilliant! He arrived in less than 30 minutes and managed to get the door open so quickly even with a key being in the lock on the inside. The price he quoted me on the phone was very reasonable and exactly what I paid once the work was completed. Thank you so much!

This guys was fantastic. Back story wife lost our door key lol yep shes not living that down anytime soon. Anyway i rang loads of companies and after 3 hours with 1 no show, 1 alleged car accident and no locksmiths on these big company books for the brigg area, oh and 1 did quote me £195 plus vat plus parts, i stumbled onto this guy, local, here within 30 mins and was back in our house within 5 mins. Genuinely a nice guy, very professional, £120 and that was with an insurance appoved lock and 5 keys, if i had a negative thing to say it would be to have a look at your analytics so you feature more prominently in this area. 5 stars but would of given more.

I am very grateful to defender locksmiths who came out and change all my lockes the same day I enquired about it. The prices was more then fair, he didn't ask any questions for what reason I needed this doing and respected my privacy. I couldn't of asked for a more kinder person to welcome into my home to do something like this, to trust to change my locks and hand me my new keys. Which I received 5sets of for each door. I rang Defender because my front door just wouldn’t open. The key turned but the lock didn’t release. He came out the same day and it turned out to be a rogue screw that had jammed the lock. A few minutes and it was fixed and do you know what??? He didn’t charge me a penny! We all know about rogue tradies and trusting their advice but this guy is as honest as the day is long. He could have charged me a call out fee and a bogus replacement but no, simply honest and good hearted!

Amazing service. So quick and reasonable and such a help advising the best. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you.

Lee came to fix our door today and we couldn't of asked for a better job. The job took a lot longer than he'd anticipated but he still charged us the standard rate which was great. Very chatty and talked through everything he was doing so I felt comfortable having him in the house. Would definetly recommend to others and would use the company again.

Highly recommended. Our key snapped off in our UPVc door lock and we were unable to open it. Arranged a date and time with Lee and he arrived on time as promised. Its obvious Lee is a professional in what he does and our lock was fixed with no fuss. Very hard to find trades nowadays that are knowledgeable, polite and good at what they do with the customer in mind, but Lee ticks all the boxes. We will definitely be using Lee again if we have any other lock issues.

Our door's been dodgy since we moved in two years ago but it finally died on us last Friday and wouldn't unlock. We called Lee who fitted us in straight away and was around within 30 minutes. Got the door open, fitted a temporary lock and confirmed which gearbox to order. Part was delivered to us yesterday afternoon and he returned to fit it this morning. He's also adjusted the door properly so it's like brand new. A very genuine person who I have no issue recommending to anybody. Extremely reasonable pricing was an added bonus. Many thanks!

Really brilliant experience. I wanted a Yale fitting as my toddler can now unlock my front door. My husband works away so having work men in my home isn't easy and can be unnerving. From the moment I opened the door he made me feel comfortable. I can honestly say this is a trust worthy honest company to use. The problem with my current lock was fixed and the new lock fitted, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Top cheerful service thank you. I rang in the morning 10am ish, and he was able to come out the same day. Wasn't charged a callout fee, and he was able to sort the problem in minutes. The fee was more than reasonable, and he was able to give us some tips for another problem we had. He even showed my husband what to do, to fix the problem ourselves.
