I used Khan's recently for a painting/decorating job. They were great. Very reasonably priced, and they even managed to take down my sons wallpaper intact (it was a special animal print that we had hoped to re-use). Today I needed help with re-sealing my kitchen & bathroom, and they were able to walk me through all the steps it would involve, and provide me with the products I needed. I have since completed this task and am really happy with the results. Thank you!

Josh and his colleague came round the next day after I called them up - I had been ripped off by chancers when I got locked out and they had done a bad job on the locks. for half the price, Josh replaced the lock and also fitted a lock on the outside date door. Over the years I've needed to replace many many house keys as my kids were growing up. Never have I paid only £7 for a set! It was a 25 minute walk from Bow Road, but well worth it. The shop is very easy find after a leisurely walk along the canal using the cut through from Mile End Park. Couldn't have taken more than 5 minutes and that included waiting to be served behind other customers, who as it happens were also commenting about the low prices. I live in Suttons Wharf South on Palmers Road. Unfortunately I found my lock broken at 3am on a Saturday morning, so was not able to call Khan's initially to look at it. Instead I had to find a locksmith online. One of these charged £270 just to destroy the existing lock rather than actually fit anything and wanted to charge over £500 to install a new one. Another locksmith was unable to find a lock to fit the lock. Within 2 hours of calling Khan's they came to start work on fixing it and within a couple of hours had installed a new lock and did a great job for a lower price than the other locksmiths quoted. Wow!!! They do key copies for £3. At another place been asked for £8 for the same key. While waiting, the guy asked another customer "Do you need them dimmable? No. Then you are paying too much. Let me bring you the other ones." God bless you, guys. The world is a better place because of honourable people like you.

I popped in to buy a smoke alarm, to replace my old one which was not working. The gentleman behind the counter and the local DIY expert on the shop floor were super helpful, talking me through all options after trying to repair the original first - offering the most cost effective solution - customer service was exemplary. A few days later our front door broke and would not close. I rang up to see if they could help, a handyman arrived within 5 minutes and it was completely repaired within the hour. I received high quality service and an excellent price, i needed 2 electric bike key copies for my SamebikeLo26, and after being turned down from three huge locksmiths, khan DIY managed to do what they failed to. I was quoted 30£ for 2 keys (while another competitor quoted me 60£ so excellent value) I paid 40£ including a 10£ tip. So if you need electric bike keys copied, try this shop before you try elsewhere. Highly recommended

Josh and the team at Khan’s did a great job fixing our door and lock. On calling them they came, did a diagnostic of the issue abs determined that due to a sealing issue with the door, water was getting through and compromising the door. They promptly fixed the door and changed the lock. All this on a Sunday no less! Very happy with the work and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for a great service!

I'd been in the shop needing spare keys twice and liked the service and friendliness of the guys working there. Today my bi-fold kitchen door wouldn't open as the lock had completely jammed. I had put a job out on the mybuilder website for a locksmith but remembered this place also had a locksmith so following my gut feeling I went with them. They came really quickly and took the entire mechanism apart for the whole door and spent a good while working it into shape. It works perfectly now and I know from first inspection they could have easily told me to replace the whole unit at considerable expense but instead got it working perfectly and charged me just for the call out fee. Very glad I went with my gut and can't recommend them enough.

Cameron was very professional and great at problem-solving. My lock was old and existing screws wouldn't fit. He estimated the size and resized the screw, and the lock is working as well as new. Plan to use them after buying a keypad lock. Professional service.

I love little local shops like this that sell a huge selection of stuff you need and are a wealth of knowledge. They’ve only one not has the item I wanted, but it was a very specialist item. I tried 5 or so shops and Khan's were the only people who put in the time and effort to source and order the rare kind of lock I needed replacing after an attempted break in. I've been searching for a 2cm deadlock (a shed satch lock), I went B&Q, toolstation, screwfix & other locksmith stores but none of them had what I was searching for!!! A key cutter place recommended this place and I came, Hamid was super friendly, welcomed me into the store and mentioned its a very unique size hence why I haven't found it anywhere else, he opened a brand new packaging lock for me to show me it is exactly the same lock, let me measure it myself, so pleased, I bought it instantly, I wish I just opened into my local store instead of searching in BIG stores - where not everything is available.
