C. L.After being the victims of a forced entry that left our front door in splinters, Rashid of R&M Locksmiths provided us with a genuinely phenomenal service.
After sending pictures over the phone he gave us a very reasonable advance quote, and was with us in less than an hour, even though it was already late in the evening. Friendly and extremely helpful, he quickly restored the door's strength and security while clearly explaining what he was doing.
He then returned the next day to replace the locking mechanism (which was somewhat usable but clearly badly damaged by the incident), and he did all that while sticking to his original quote!

I was very sceptical seeking out a locksmith because I've heard the horror stories of paying £900+ however R&M Locksmith were very open and honest about their services and pricing, there were no hidden costs. The job itself wasn't an easy one but they were very persistent. The locksmith attempted all non-destructive methods in order to save me money and my lock but in the end destructive drilling was the only option. I appreciate the fact that the focus was problem solving and not money driven. I would highly recommend their service.

Rashid is clearly very passionate and dedicated about his work, as he spent half an hour after opening my broken lock investigating it and explaining what had happened. This was particularly important to me as it broke due to a dodgy fitting, so liability fell on the landlord eventually. D. M.Locked myself out of my flat by dropping the key down the apartment building lift shaft. Came across London East locksmith on google search, a very lucky find. Speedy call out (under 15 mins at aroud midnight), friendly service and stated all possible costs upfront clearly before attending (depending on whether the lock would need destroying or not). I was not pushed towards the most expensive option of destroying and refitting the lock if non destructive options were possible. Luckily the key was retrieved from underneath the lift so was able to gain access to the flat without damaging the lock, which was the cheaper and simpler option. So 10/10 would 100% recommend. Genuine, honest business not trying to rip you off as some locksmiths do.

J.Rashid’s customer service went beyond my expectations today. While being in my flat I witnessed someone attempt a break in, although I managed to prevent them getting in completely. As a girl living on my own I immediately panicked about my safety. Rashid was round at my flat within the hour (on a Saturday) and also supported me with providing details to the police and my landlord. He helped me understand how my new lock that he brought would be more safe and the flaws in the previous lock. I also think the price he charged for all of this was very fair. Unlike other shady "locksmiths" whose business model is "drill, don't fix", R&M Locksmith actually try to open the door non-destructively so you don't have to buy a new lock. The ending result is that you pay a lot less for R&M's services than for a locksmith who destroys your lock and makes you buy a new one from them. I needed the locksmith out of hours at 2am. R&N Locksmith were the only one who responded and the locksmith was there in less than 30 minutes. I've needed locksmiths before but I've never had such a professional service where they cared so much about not destroying your door, doing things according to protocol and keeping everyone safe. I'll definitely use their services again and I've recommended R&M Locksmith to all my friends. There are too many shady locksmiths out there, so be careful who you let near your locks!

I. D.I rang the 24 hour emergency number after locking myself out of my work van, after ringing over 20 other companies (who claimed to be 24 hour) I got straight through to R&M on the third ring at 3am in the morning.
Whilst unfortunately they were too far away from me to do the job, they went above and beyond to try and help (ringing insurance lines, suggesting other ways to gain access, trying other contacts).
Again whilst I can’t comment on the work they undertake, however based on their willingness to help a stranger out at 3am in morning I have no doubt they do a fantastic job and should certainly be given a go!

Very genuine brother HIGHLY recommend as lock Smith's normally take advantage of your situation and try charge you extortionate prices. By drilling unnecessary holes in your lock but he didnt do nothing like that , he was very genuine and charged me MUCH LOWER then other places offered me around £100 lower then other places !
