First class service! I need a new key cut for my Mondeo as the original had worn out. Mitchell arrived on time (after phoning to confirm) and was polite, professional and knowledgeable. What started as a simple job to cut the key became more challenging to get the alarm reset and charge up the dying battery! Mitchell made sure that the new key worked in all the locks (door, ignition, boot and bonnet) and even managed to get a new key fob to work! (the old one stopped working years ago). Would happily recommend the service of this team.

The key to our Ford stopped working after 13 years, we only had one so they provided a new spare key and a new main key for us. Price was excellent very competitive, the service from the booking to the engineer was excellent, always keeping me informed and with no hidden charges. Please don't feel you have to go to the main dealerships as they really overcharge you and were really unfriendly and not helpful. The technician called before he arrived as promised, arrived bang on time, accessed the car within 60 seconds and had cut and programmed a new key fob within 20 mins. Amazing service!!! The technician was courteous, profession, efficient and the ease with which he completed the task shows that he is highly skilled. I was absolutely blown away and he exceeded all expectations and the cost was great value in comparison to other quotes we received. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Definitely recommend using 'The Auto Locksmith', Mitchell was very professional, friendly and on time. I needed a spare key cut and programmed for my VW Golf 5, he was very quick and very knowledgeable about his skill as well as an experienced expert and as an added bonus the pricing was very good compared to other places, especially the VW dealership. Really really great service, I can't recommend them enough. I spoke to Mark on Thursday and someone came to cut my spare remote key on Friday morning. I was expecting to wait at least a week so it was fantastic that he sent someone so quickly! They arrived promptly, took my car key and were finished within 30 mins. I tested the key and it works perfectly. They've been so polite, professional and are so reasonably priced (I phoned several other companies before settling on this one). Thank you!

Went on holiday came back and my 2007 Vauxhall Corsa’s key wasn’t being recognised anymore due to battery dying! Got the battery up and running however the engine wouldn’t turn over and it just wouldn’t start, I was so worried! Dropped my only car key down a drain and needed to get a new key sorted quickly. Called Auto locksmith at 7.45am this morning for a replacement key as my only key wasnt working and i couldnt start my car due to the immobilizer. They arrived at 9am, cut me a new key and programmed it to my car and i was driving away at 9.30am. Absolutely brilliant service and the price beat all the other quotes id had. Brilliant service. Quick, pro and not expensive. Having lost my key, I spent the morning phoning companies I'd found on Google: Some gave a waiting time of a week, some needed to send off for codes, some needed to send off for keys, some were vague and seemed to be a call service for contracted locksmiths. This one is the real deal. He arrived within an hour and had the car open and key cut in 10 minutes with a smile on his face. I am saving the phone number. A pleasure to deal with.

Mark has a great deal of knowledge about car locks. In my case my key broke and I hadn't realised that you can't just stick a piece of plastic on the back to hold the microchip in! Mark went to a lot of trouble to locate the correct part. Once the part had been located it only took a few minutes to replace my existing key. I would call this a very fast and efficient service at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Mark if you are ever unfortunate to break or lose your car key.

I had them come out to cut a spare key for my car. Seven months later, my car would not start and the the AA guy said that the key had lost its coding. I called Auto Locksmith to come out and fix their error. Never came and never called back. AA guy advised me to get my key cut by the VW dealer and this would never have happened. I learned my lesson!
