I moved into a new home that had been rented out - so I had no idea how many keys were out there. The lads reviewed all my doors, recommended locks and changed the front door lock straight away! They came back and fitted an internal lock for me, plus a patio door lock - all with a smile and lots of lovely chat. Most of all, they reassured me that I have good security in my home. Fantastic service! Needed a lock change after 2 suspected “silent” break ins. Managed to book a time slot that fitted our needs, the guy who came (I’ve forgotten his name) was friendly and very helpful. He changed the locks within 5 minutes. Used Budget Locksmiths again today to change a uPVC front door lock and Shaun was again on time and very efficient and quick to change over the lock. I offered a cup of tea but it took Shaun less time to change the lock than it did to brew a cup of tea! Once again brilliant service and price (£60), this time I had pre-booked a time with Shaun last week and he was prompt and speedy. As I said below in my first review, I would not hesitate to recommend Budget Locksmiths to anyone who requires a locksmith! Many thanks again Shaun! -- First review: My key broke for an internal door and I called Budget Locksmiths to gain access to my room. I called at about 19:40 and spoke to Shaun and he estimated that he would be with me for about 21:30 as he was already on two other call-outs and wasn't sure how long they would take. I explained the problem and he quoted between £60-100 depending on whether he needed to replace the lock etc. I was happy with this and agreed. Shaun then called me at just after 20:00 to say that he had finished the previous two jobs and was on his way and would be with me within 5 minutes! He arrived ahead of time and was skilled enough to gain access using skeleton keys / lock picking to open the lock within 5 minutes of being in the house! Shaun then said he would only need £50 for the work so the cost was less than expected too! Great service, would recommend and use again should it ever be needed!
