I received an excellent service from Jim at Masterkey Locksmiths. I was worried about being locked out of my house out and it was 6:30pm. I am female and was on my own. Jim answered my call immediately and arrived at my home within 15 minutes. Jim was approachable and friendly which put me at ease. Jim had invested in tools which meant I was able to access my home without any damage being caused to my brand new composite front door. I couldn’t believe how competitive and affordable the cost for the work/service was. I found Jim to be honest, trustworthy and reliable. After the service I received, I cannot recommend Jim at Masterkey Locksmiths enough. Thank you 🙏 ⭐️

Outstanding! Needed help at short notice on a Saturday afternoon on a bank holiday weekend.....wrong key used to open the steering wheel lock on our campervan and snapped off in the barrell! Vehivle stranded! Called Jim at Masterkey, he answered quickly, was reassuring and helpful over the phone, and was with us despite heavy traffic within 30mins. We imagined the lock would be damaged beyond repair (a new one would be around £135), so were expecting this to be an expensive mistake. Jim arrived, was friendly and professional, examined the lock, had the tools and expertise to remove the snapped key with no fuss and no damage to the lock! Brilliant! A very reasonable fee was charged, and we were on the road again! Can not recommend Masterkey / Jim highly enough!!! Thanks again Jim, good luck to The Bhoys tomorrow, I hope they get on better than Argyle did today!

Excellent service, no sooner had I phoned to enquire about getting my lock changed jimmy arrived within 30 minutes, job completed plus jimmy took time to make some other alterations on the door to help improve opening and closing, nothing was too much trouble, the price was good too. I have used Jim to replace my front door key barrel due to key being lost. And more recently to fix the door lock. He advised me that the main mechanism had failed which would cost £150 to replace. He advised me to contact supplier of door to see if it could be done under warranty. He said if I needed him back just call him and he would fix it if they would not,do the repair under warranty. His advice and the fact there was no call out charge was great.i would recommend him.

Punctual, polite and a perfect service! I needed to use Masterkey following one of my front door keys being misplaced. Jim attended promptly and quickly discovered that the door was fitted with a specialist lock. He sourced a new lock in very short order to set our minds at rest. Needed the locks changed on the front and rear door of the house. Jim wasn't available, he was 2 hours away and very busy... He had just finished a job and had the 2 hours to drive home, but he still took the time to talk me through how to dismantle them both and even sent the code and a description of what to buy and where to buy it! Contacted Jim on a Sunday. Answered quickly and politely- others I contacted first answered like I was a burden. Arranged for Jim to call in the following day. Arrived prompt and polite. Jumped straight in and fitted a new lock to secure my garage internal door for insurance purposes. Whilst Jim was here I asked him about a couple of other locks. He had them onboard and fitted them. Jim replaced the whole locking mechanism on a UPVC door, fitted a new front door lock, added locks to internal doors and went out of his way to find a replacement key for the window locks. His work is excellent, he is friendly and helpful and very reasonably priced. I would recommend him to anyone.

We received a very professional & prompt service today after I called to see if he could come and fix our backdoor because it wouldn't lock. He told me he would be round after lunchtime sometime but he was here by 11am, which I was very grateful of as we have a small baby in the house so needed it fixing ASAP. Great service - door gearbox had broken and I couldn't lock my door so stuck in the house as didn't want to leave the house unlocked! We have used Masterkey Locksmiths in the past when we locked ourselves out on a cold, dark and stormy night. Jim was so polite, and let us in without any fuss; so when an old lock was giving us problems recently, he was the first person we called. It didn't turn out to be a straightforward job, but in his usual good humoured way, the lock was fixed and he also gave us tips in case the problem happened again. Can't recommend him highly enough!

Masterkey Locksmiths, and Jim in particular, provided an outstandingly level of service. He was punctual on both visits. The installation of the new, secure locks was neat, tidy and carried out in a timely manner. The price was fair and completely consistent with the level of Jim’s skills and expertise. Finally, I needed extra keys. Jim’s van contains a mobile workshop, with an extensive suite of tools, machinery and spare parts. As a consequence, he was able to produce extra keys at a modest price whilst on site.

The patio door lock that needed an emergency fix following an attempted burglary in the middle of the night was a really complicated and tricky job. Can quite easily give Jim (Masterkey Locksmith) the full five stars. Not the first time I called him and each time I do he is easy to get hold of, promt and reliable. Called him to fix/replace a bathroom window lock mechanism. Would have quite happily payed to have it replaced if thats what was needed but for the second time Jim has been able to repair it. Not sure I'll get away with a third repair, fingers crossed, but if in the future Jim says it need to be replaced I know he being honest. More than happy to recommend.

Jim, from Masterkey Locksmiths, was absolutely brilliant. We have just moved to a cottage and thought we needed the locks changing on five doors, but Jim was able to solve the problems and just changed three of the locks. He came along within an hour of being called and was polite and he did a great job. Husband taken ill while Jim was here, so he insisted we had more important things to worry about and he'd send the bill at a later date. I've just called him to remind him we want to pay. All in all, we believe you will not get better help from anyone else than you can get from Jim at Masterkey Locksmiths.
