Paul was very responsive in confirming the appointment to change locks for a tenant eviction. His colleague James who did the work arrived well on time, carried out his craft impeccably, was very professional, friendly and explained clearly how the locks worked. I contacted Sir Fix-a-Lock for a one key system for my house. The price was a little more than I expected but after getting a quote from someone else who was offering the whole system for the price of only one of the locks Paul quoted I realise that in this instance quality is more important than cost. The communication from Paul was top quality, he came and measured the locks and the next day (a Saturday) sent photos of the completed locks and keys. He then came and fitted that day. Unfortunately the front lock had some issues, after a text letting Paul know he came around that day (Sunday) and fixed the issue. Wow! I’ve used sir fix a lock before and knew immediately who to use when I needed to change my locks. But this time he surpassed himself with customer service! They arrived the following day after a late night message, changed my locks and then said “I’m not happy with that one, it’s safe and secure but I’m coming back tomorrow to fit one I think is better”. After discussing the need for good quality child safety locks on our upstairs windows, a friend mentioned that she had used Sir-Fix-a-Lock for some UPVC window repairs and was very pleased with the results. He was able to come out at a time convenient for us and proceeded to fit the locks quickly and efficiently (despite fielding questions from some very inquisitive children!) He then checked all the window mechanisms and gave them a squirt of silicone spray - top chap!
