After my daughter accidentally locked us out, Keywise were able to attend, with 20 minutes they were here and was able to get in to the house with minimal work and zero damage. Could not thank him enough as I’m sure he could have made a lot more money out of me if he wanted but he was honest and used the easiest and less intrusive way to get in. Cannot thank you enough. I would highly recommend Don (aka Bugsy) for locksmith work. He came out less than an hour after calling to give me a no-obligation quote for my exterior doors, both of which have been problematic for ages. We arranged a mutually convenient date a few days later and the work only took him an hour! Bugsy's a really lovely guy: professional, polite, friendly, local, reasonably priced. He also gave me some security advice which was really helpful. My one piece of advice is that if you email him, follow up with a phone call if you don't hear from him as his email wasn't working very well; he prides himself on customer service so he wouldn't deliberately ingore your email.

We had an issue with a stiff handle on our front door and Don very quickly saw that it just needed some oil and adjustment to be put right. He also identified our lock cylinder was one that can be easily snapped and therefore a target for burglars, and explained how a different one would be a lot more secure. We agreed and he replaced it there and then. Don's a really friendly and professional local tradesman and the quote given was extremely competitive. Would highly recommend and definitely use again.

Called to get quote to adjust/service three doors and locks. Don arrived just over an hour later, assessed the problem and quoted a very fair price. He said he could do the work there and then. Two were fairly straightforward and now work satisfactorily. The third was a bit more problematical and he couldn't fix it to his satisfaction, although its is better then it was, so said he wouldn't charge for that door. I would not hesitate to recommend Keywise to anyone and, if needed, will definitely use him again.

Fantastic service. Rubbish weather and taking time to get my key out of the other side of the door. Bugsy came to my house to upgrade my door locks. Very polite and friendly who gave some really good security advice. Turned up on time, changed all the locks and also checked and lubricated all 3 door locking mechanisms and catches as well as adjusting one of the doors in the frame. Donald at KeyWise came to sort out front/back doors that had dropped and were difficult to close. He arrived very promptly and was extremely professional, working hard for over 2 hours to strip down and sort the doors, also maintained the lock mechanisms, and sorted our back gate too! Don't let the big locksmith companies rip you off, or even Some of your local smaller businesses! Some charge as much as 100 pound just to let you back in your house if your locked out, what did bugsy charge? Nothing. Only the cost to change the lock and another part. Don't take my word for it instead Look at his google reviews... 171 reviews - 5 stars. (July 2020) now either he has an extensive network of friends and family giving him reviews or he is doing an honest, cheap and quality job. Quite obviously the latter.

I highly recommend this privately owned company. The owner Don was extremely nice, patient, and professional. He was determined to open my door without drilling out the deadlock. Since my door and locks are extremely secure, it took well over an hour, but he was patient and kept trying new things. A call out at 8pm was £70 flat. Some companies charger as much as £130! I'd much prefer to use Don at Keywise than a company like Keytech which subcontracts out work and then takes most of the fee. Also, it's great to support local traders. Thanks for the great service.

I'd highly recommend Don if you have any problem with the security of your home. We called him out to change the looks on our rented property. Out of interest we got him to quote for a intruder alarm, he gave us an excellent price, so we went for it and i have to stay the installation was very neat and tidy!
