If you’ve lost the only key to your car and are reading this review, you’re probably concerned that you’ll be ripped off, given a poor quality service, or charged a call out fee but still left without a key. Call this firm with complete peace of mind. Alex was polite and reassuring. He provided a high quality and fully functioning replacement for the competitively quoted price, even though the job took longer than expected. He even picked me up from home on the way to the job. Apple Pay taken on completion and full VAT receipt issued promptly on payment.

My trainsit custom barrel to my key ignition had packed in. I had found auto lock assist on Google. I rang Alex straight away and within a couple of hours he had arrived where I was stranded. Alex was professional, helpful and very polite. Unfortunately it was a tricky barrel to remove but Alex was reassuring that the issue will be sorted. Within an hour, Alex was done. I replaced my key casing but failed to transfer the immobiliser chip across . The old keys went in the trash and was collected that morning, I realised my BIG mistake in the adternoon when the car would not start. Had a problem with Nissan Micra - handbook said I had a problem with the NAts system i.e. the engine locked light came on and wouldn't start. Phoned 2 Nissan garages the first one in Portsmouth I just could not get through to service dept. Tried one in Bognor, more helpful but said I would need to get recovery vehicle to take car to their garage and as they were busy would take a week or so. They did, however suggest I try Auto Lock Assist. Googled it I rang the number and spoke to Alex (I think). He asked me a few questions about the problem and came over. What a lovely man. In today's world it is so refreshing to get genuine, caring, experienced helpful person. He must really know his stuff. Sorted out my problem in no time - turns out it was the battery. The charge was very reasonable especially bearing in mind the Nissan approach. Thank you Alex it was a pleasure dealing with you and you will be highly recommended,

Simply Outstanding! My wife managed to lose our only set of keys for the Touran when out walking the dog - we tried several companies and even Volkswagen - either they couldn't do it, failed to return calls or as in the VW dealer, needed 5 days and the car moved to them. Autolockassist/Alex not only did it, cutting two remote fobs/keys for us on location but even stayed with the job when the car door proved complicated. Got it done! Thoroughly professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Rarely do this but can't recommend highly enough!

Hello Alex, Remember me? For anyone who wants an honest review, get ready for an essay if your up for. I had a shocker, absolute shocker. Lost my Mums Citroen c1 only key at a family friends 21st. After searching and having 5 hours of arguments we had to pay someone to get a lift back from the middle of no where home. The party was in vain. Finding someone to replace a key that is so new, complex and so technologically advanced was absoutely impossible. My Mum wouldn't stop getting down my neck about sorting the problem out. I was getting no where. Until, Alex, Alex the Angel got recommended from Citroen Portfield (who were actually helpful as well) sorted the job in 24 hours, at a better price than the £600 quoted (as it is the most complex key to recreate with nothing but numbers to recreate such a specific object, technology these days) anways, he did it for £470. The car was waiting for me in Chichester on a friday afternoon when the sun was shinning and I didn't even meet the saviour I spoke to on the phone. The only other thing this chap could of done to help me out more was fill up the tank. Hahahaha next time Alex, fill the tank up and charge slightly extra ;) . Best service I have ever received. This guy should start passing on his skill and create and army. Although he could turn out to be a really really really dodgy person, if he is a Southampton football club supporter try not to do business with him. Lots of Love Alex, I never thought I would say, I would be happy doing business again. Have a lovely week Rob (that 21 year old who has finally escaped the dog house after that night, wooo!)
