We rang the locksmith at half past 10 on Sunday night as we couldn't open our front door and he arrived 10 minutes later. He found the problem immediately and had it sorted within half an hour. For saying it was a late-night emergency call out AND on a weekend or was incredibly reasonably priced. He was friendly, tidy and efficient. I cannot recommend him enough!

Wonderful! Shane replaced the whole mechanism in about half an hour and pointed out our misaligned hinges as well, which he then fixed as well. I got home this evening at 1800hrs from work, to find that I couldn't lock our front door. I rung around a number of emergency locksmiths and spoke to Shane at Afford-A-Lock. The previous locksmiths all advised that they were unable to get out this evening. I explained to Shane (as I had the other locksmiths) that it was a security issue as I have two young children and didn't want an unlocked door overnight or all day tomorrow whilst I was at work. Shane explained that they would have to charge for the work and wouldn't be able to leave the invoice for my landlord to pay (completely understand and agree with this). As soon as I explained the situation with children, Shane asked me a few questions about the door and then proceeded to talk me through the process to fix it myself which took about 10 minutes of his time. Shane didn't earn a penny from me, but I'm extremely grateful for the time he took to talk me through the process so that I could secure our home. Excellent customer service - I'll definitely be using Shane and Afford-A-Lock for any future issues we have. Massively recommended and a genuine bloke.

Rang Shane in a panic as my door was jammed shut. I have a floor man coming to fit a new floor and needed it to be open. Came almost immediately and had a look. Arranged to come back a bit later. Did as promised. Took great care to sort it for me, much to my relief. A very good price too. I shall be keeping his number just in case I need anything else. Thanks for rescuing me Shane!

Shane the locksmith came to my house at short notice at 7pm at night to replace 4 external locks after I mislaid my keys. He carries all sorts of locks on his vehicle so was even able to replace a 1959 garage door lock. He was on time and completed the work in less than an hour at an agreed price per lock.
