Highly recommended. Did an excellent job fixing the lock on our garden shed and went the extra mile by taking the door off its hinges and shaving down the sides to improve functionality. We had already agreed a price over the phone, but he did the extra work we hadn't agreed on, because it was simpler to fix that expected. Didn't have to do the extra work, but we really appreciate you doing it, Kevin, thanks!

my front door locks became faulty on 08/08/22,due to structural repairs on property.I called LAUREL BANK LOCKSMITH (after using them once before) and Kevin said he could come over asap as he had just finished a job.Kevin has just got to be one of the kindest,efficient,professional tradesmen I have ever met. Nothing is too much trouble for him; he talks you through the reason of fault and how it will be repaired.He instills trust and dependability from "the start".His work is competent,tidy and done to a high standard.So,it was a no brainer on who to call when our front door would not close shut or lock.Kevin was at our house within 30mins of calling him.Oh how I wish all tradesmen were of Kevins standard. mrs susan holmes

We had a stuck key in a temporarily fitted UPVC door which was already difficult to close and lock. Kevin was conscious that we didn't want to spend too much on a temporary door and took time to explain clearly the options available. Once we'd arrived at a decision he got on with the job very efficiently. The door is now easy to open, close and lock! We then explained that we needed to change the barrel on another lock and Kevin showed how we could easily perform the task ourselves. In short we are extremely pleased with the service. Thank you!

Although he had a busy work schedule, Kevin made time to sort out a failed gearbox on a UPVC door that had left my house insecure. He asked me a few questions on the phone, diagnosed the problem and arrived promptly with the right parts. Based on his diagnosis, he had already quoted me for the callout, parts and labour and it was all very reasonable with no surprises. He was respectful of COVID, wore a mask, and kept a social distance. Very polite, friendly and professional and cleaned up thoroughly before he left. I was invited to check his work to ensure I was completely satisfied. He also gave me advice on how to carry out preventative maintenance on other locks in the house and how to make the premises secure should a failure occur in the future. Highly recommended.

We had firmly jammed the key in the lock on the front door so it wouldn't open, close or come out of the lock!! Having obtained the number from our neighbour who had also used this firm and explained the circumstances the locksmith arrived within the hour as promised. He removed the key and replaced the old lock with a new 5 lever mortice lock efficiently and also gave us some good advice regarding maintenance for the future. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend this firm.

When he looked into it, the job was a bit more complex as doors were already damaged, but he was happy to fix the whole thing for a minimal extra payment. I had a key broken off in a lock today. I wasn't sure if it was a new lock, or recoverable since the Ultion lock makes recovery difficult. I was really impressed with Laurel Bank, who were with me in under half an hour, managed to extract the lock and the key, and restore it to fully working order. Also while with me, he noticed the door wasn't hanging straight an ongoing issue and managed to fully adjust and reseal the door!
