David is a genuinely lovely guy with so much knowledge In his field. He’s has been helping me with a few back and hip issues for the past couple months and the noticeable changes that I have felt have been unreal. I highly recommend booking in with him for anyone with mobility issues, pain or discomfort, the movement loft is a really nice welcoming space too which really adds to the whole experience. :)

When I went to see David I was in chronic pain from a hip issue related to a previous pregnancy. Any exercise I tried to start resulted in injury and I felt defeated. A relative recommended David to me when I injured my knees attempting couch to 5k. His approach was holistic. After a couple of weeks of completing the rehab exercises I really noticed a difference feeling much more flexible and minimal pain. I could even touch my toes for the first time in a long time! I’ve now moved on to strength and conditioning work with David and feeling stronger every week. David is professional, patient, positive and client centred. Highly recommend.

Just finished a block of sessions with David and I'm blown away by the improvements. I had contacted David regarding back and hip pain. After an initial assessment David provided me with exercises that although difficult at first, I noticed huge improvements in only a few days. Couldn’t recommend David enough. First got in touch for help with improving my mobility and general strength but not having a clue where to start. Following a mobility and functional movement assessment we decided to focus on calisthenics and strength training. I’ve progressed beyond what I thought possible in the time we’ve been working together! David’s given me a wealth of knowledge, and even helped me tackle a persistent knee issue by guiding me through realigning postural and stance imbalances, much more than I initially expected at the beginning. I would highly recommend David. I got in touch with him as I had found myself in a frustrating cycle of constantly relying on a chiropractor to keep my body functioning in the way I needed it to. With David’s help I was able to regain a sense of independence and trust with my body and movement. In doing the exercises he advised the pain I was experiencing quickly improved. David has an incredible knowledge of the body and a refreshing perspective on both movement and rehab. Where do I start?! I suffered with lower back pain when training and neck pain while I was working. I’ve been to countless specialists to resolve the issues, but it was all of the same stuff. Activate this and activate that etc. Which was just putting a bandage on my injuries. David has a different approach, what is the route cause of the problem. A detailed initial assessment was all David needed to then implement different exercises to combat my injuries. Within a week of doing the exercises I felt 10x better. Within 4 weeks of doing the exercises I had no lower back pain whatsoever. I honestly can’t recommend him enough, his attention to detail and knowledge is second to none. It was that exceptional, I travelled 4 hours in total for every session. Go to David, listen, learn, do the exercises and you to will be pain free.

After years of debilitating pain and limited mobility, I reached out to David after seeing several physios and chiropractors. Within only 1 session the improvements where incredible. David covered breathing exercises, that within only a few rounds of performing, I immediately felt a relief in and around my lower back and ribcage. I came to David after 7+ years of lower back problems. Having seen various physios, osteopaths and a spinal surgeon, the diagnosis was always the same; tight hamstrings due to a lack of stretching after exercise. David took a skeletal and psychological approach rather a than muscular approach, targeting my hips and posture using movements bringing everything back to where they should be. After a few weeks of treatment the pain and tightness has subsided dramatically and I feel back to where I was before the issues started. I would highly recommend David given the great results along with excellent knowledge and attentiveness throughout the treatment.

First off David’s knowledge around the human anatomy and how to move with great technique is impeccable! He is not only very knowledgeable but also great at explaining it in simple enough terms so that I could understand. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere over at the movement loft. I paid David a visit last year for on going back pain after being recommended through a work colleague.
David was very welcoming straight away, and made me feel very comfortable. His assessment was very thorough, explaining the reasoning behind everything he was doing in a easy to understand way. I had been to many other physios and GPS and nobody had mentioned any of the information David portrayed to me. This gave me more confidence than I had felt in a very long time.
The movements David recommended where appropriate for my capabilities. After just a few weeks my back pain felt much better and I had a new sense of hope. After 10+ years of bodybuilding/powerlifting-style training and working a 9-5 office job, I had the mobility of a London bus. I made the decision to go to David initially with the sole ambition of improving my Olympic lifting mobility however, to say the improvements were life changing would do a disservice to David. Having implemented the techniques David taught me I now have an incredibly improved range of motion in all my joints, I no longer have to spend 20+ minutes warming up before a weights session, and - probably most importantly - I no longer have any back pain from sitting at a desk all day. David is one of the best if not the best rehabilitation people I have been to. Firstly his manner and professionalism is 10 to none and makes you so comfortable to explain what you think is wrong. I went to David with hip issues but turns out with Davids care and attention to detail there wasn't that much wrongnqith my hip mobility and it was in my head and from previous peoples comments. He explained how muscle tissue works and memory works and I have been able to use my hips with ease. Another issues for me was an old injury in my shoulder. Again David explained it thoroughly and I now have a better understanding and movement in my shoulder....I don't have that fear of hurting myself and I am able to do so much more including handstand practice etc. I can't recommend David enough he is so attentive kind and easy to work with. David is great at taking a holistic and honest approach to his work. David ensures the work being done creates long lasting change rather than a 'quick fix'. If you want to make sure you create ever lasting positive changes to your body then David is a great person to work with. Had one to one sessions with David after finding him online. Was very nervous as I have spent 15 years + doing only weight lifting in the gym without ever really considering flexibility or mobility. Went along not expecting much as a 36 year old who struggled to touch his toes without needing about two days to recover. With David's advice and careful demonstrating, I noticed a massive difference after only about two or three sessions. He is very relaxed and is happy to give lots of advice and instruction to use in your own time and doesn't try to force you into further unnecessary appointments. He was also able to tailor my plan personally, to work really hard and push myself far on the aspects I was good at, but was also able to safely and carefully begin and improve the areas I was weak at. It has helped massively with both the gym as well as starting taekwondo as an adult beginner. The 24-48 hour post workout DOMS are now pretty much a thing of the past. I would definitely recommend David for any injury rehab or for improving flexibility, as well as enhancing mobility and function in the gym.

I play GAA and was getting through training and matches by taking painkillers due to severe sciatic nerve pain/hip tightness. I wanted to get back to my sport and day-to-day life pain free. David assessed movement limitations in my hips and was able to point out areas which needed improvement and how to fix them. He has a deep understanding of body mechanics and educates you along the way to get you back to your best. I am back training and playing matches with no painkillers after suffering for a long time. I worked with David for a few months between lockdowns and won't hesitate to pick back up with him again once the current situation stabilises.
I'd been experiencing long-term foot issues after a fracture, notably pain and stiffness which hadn't really responded to rest or physio and was hampering me in getting back to the activities I wanted to. After a thorough movement analysis David was able to identify contributing factors and provided targeted activities which not only helped address the foot issues but also other mobility issues as well. I was impressed with how quickly his programme showed positive progress which built up week on week.
David brings a wide range of knowledge and variety to sessions, and explains things well in layman's terms.
After some consistent work with him, my foot issue is vastly improved, and I've even been informed my foot is starting to look like a foot again after a long spell of muscular tension round the arch.

Went to see David for a knee injury I picked up during BJJ training. I was in pain all the time and walking or running aggregated it. David was able to quickly identify the cause of pain and talked me through exercises to help relieve this and strengthen the area. After the appointment he sent me videos for all the exercises and I am now back at training and pain free.

Trying to understand parts of the body and taking instructions can be pretty overwhelming when you aren't very familiar with terminology or how things really work. David does a great job at explaining and breaking down what can sometimes be very complex information.

I came to David looking help with my mobility having suffered with low back pain and knee pain for quite some time. 5 sessions in and I am noticing a massive difference. The biggest take away for me so far is having a mobility plan which is specific to my needs to help improve my movement capacity and play my sports pain free. Without David’s detailed assessment, wealth of knowledge and expert coaching I would still be stabbing in the dark doing pointless stretching, foam rolling and mobility exercises which we’re doing nothing for me. I went to David after suffering an injury in my shoulder, I went to physio and doctors before going to David and the pain wouldn’t ease. I had been trying different exercises at home before going. David done a quick assessment on me and gave me a few exercises to try, at first I thought they were a little unconventional but David explained really well why I was doing them and the effects theyd have on my body, after doing these exercises for a few minutes the pain had reduced and my range of motion had increased! David then gave me very detailed info on how to do these exercises at home and kept on me to ensure I was doing them! I know it’s me that is sore I should be doing them without prompting but he done it anyway! After a few weeks completing these exercises my shoulder has made a massive recovery! I would recommend David if anyone is having difficulty with recovery after an injury! 5 stars for knowledge and being able to put that knowledge into laymen’s terms without confusing those with less knowledge on the subject!

I was recommended to David by a friend. I had been struggling with ongoing low back, SI joint and hip discomfort and tightness on and off over four years, basically through two pregnancies and babies. Despite keeping up some training, I figured I had lost a lot of mobility and flexibility through parenting life. David did a Range of Motion Assessment and much to my surprise I had pretty good mobility. He determined that it was more likely due to a combination of relaxin hormone from pregnancy and breastfeeding and strength. He developed a strength programme for me. I was so surprised at the results. I expected I'd feel a bit better after doing the routine for a couple of weeks but literally after the first go at the programme I felt a sense of release in my lower back, SI joints and hips. I hadn't felt like that since pre pregnancy days and even after visiting multiple physios, it's amazing. The aches and stiffness creep in again if I don't work out for a few days but I now know what to do. I'm so glad I found David, I can't recommend him highly enough and look forward to continuing to work with him. The relief of feeling strong in my body again is life changing.

He was able to find the source of the problem and gave me exercises to do to resolve it. I had a terrible leg break a couple years ago. After surgery and rehab through the NHS I had very limited range of motion and limited flexibility in both legs. Training with David and partaking in his kinstretch classes has hugely improved my flexibility and strength in both legs.
