I went to see Matt yesterday because I needed help with my lower back and left hip, which had tightened up and was causing me constant pain. Matt was brilliant, focusing on the problem area and made me feel at ease. My hip immediately felt better after the massage but now the pain has completely gone and I have my mobility back :)

I went to see Matt this evening due to sleeping awkwardly and I had a lot of pain in my neck. Matt was absolutely amazing I left with hardly any pain in my neck now a few hrs on I can now move my neck without any pain at all. Matt took the time to make sure I was pain free he did over run but I was more than happy to pay for this service as I have been in extreme pain all week. Not only did Matt fit me in on the same day he released my trapped nerve in my neck what was amazing he took the time to make sure that I could move my neck. Matt is fabulous if you are suffering from a sports injury or need deep tissue massage then Matt really is the man to see extremely caring he really did go that extra mile to make sure I left being able to move. I wasn't rushed in my appointment well worth the money as I have been suffering all week now I don't need to take strong painkillers as I am now pain free. 100% recommend Matt absolutely amazing the best deep tissue massage I have had in a very long time thank you.

The best massage therapist I have ever visited! I had a trapped nerve in my shoulder which needed to be sorted ASAP as I had a very physical play to perform in. I was in agony and couldn't turn my neck. Matt really listened to my concerns and got totally in tune physically with what my shoulder needed. He was incredibly warm and caring and I immediately felt relaxed and in great hands. My shoulder was instantly loosened up, I could turn my neck afterwards and go on stage that evening! The next day the pain had gone completely. I can recommend Matt incredibly highly for deep tissue, sports massage or just a wonderfully relaxing time. As an actor I have visited lots of therapists around the UK but Matt was by far the best.

Quite simply the best massage I've found across Bristol I used to go to see various sports/deep tissue massage people pretty regularly as I was training quite hard so I've tried quite a few across Bristol. But once I went to Matt Upton and he was able to help me understand what was going wrong and helped me manage the problem which meant I didn't need another massage for some time - did himself out of a job he was so good!! From then on whenever I've needed a massage I've never thought twice about picking up the phone to Matt - whether I've been training hard, or working too hard at a laptop or just fancy a relaxing massage! I had a baby recently and had a whole new set of aches & pains, a massage from Matt helped me sleep more comfortably and released some of the tension from carrying my son around/feeding etc. So whatever your motivation for wanting a massage I would highly recommend giving Matt a call as I'm sure he can help!

So I came to see Matt because of the reviews and perhaps slightly skeptical of the 5 star reviews however I am now leaving my own 5 stars cause he deserves it 😊 Matt was super chilled, very professional and very skilled at feeling his way around knots and manipulating muscles. My first “deep tissue” massage - and definitely not the last! I wasn’t sure what to expect from this kind of massage, but I can say that the results definitely exceeded my expectations. I came in with a very tight and painful back, and came out feeling relaxed and my back was finally giving me a break. Matt is very friendly and professional, and puts you at ease as soon as you come in. He also provided me with additional information and links for other physical issues I am dealing with. You can tell he cares about the relationship he has with his clients. Definitely would recommend!
