Got a couples massage today and it was amazing. My partner was suffering with neck and back pain, she came out like a new woman. The ladies were so nice and professional throughout. Would definitely recommend

My sister and I went for a Thai massage for her birthday. The ladies are very welcoming and chatty. We were in the couples room where there are two beds. Still private for two friends as there is a curtain between. It is exactly like going to a Thai massage in Thailand. Low, wide beds to enable the masseuse to access every limb from any angle! My lady worked hard on an arm/shoulder issue I had and worked mainly on upper body. My sister had a full body workout! We both left ready to sleep as it really works every muscle in your body! Slept like a log that night. Highly recommend Lan Thai. Would definitely go back next time in Glasgow. Now to find one in Manchester!

My daughter had a full body massage before going back to uni in London. She went in looking like a pretzel and came out looking like a goddess. She said that the massage therapist was magnificent and all staff were kind and lovely. The massage room was spiritual, calming and blissful. 100% recommended 🙏 thank you.

Unreal Massage. For the last few months I’ve been struggling with constant pain down the side of my neck, across the top of my right shoulder and also between my shoulder blades. Booked a 90min, deep tissue massage with Jai and without a word of a lie, when I came out of the salon, I had to adjust the mirrors in my car. Genuinely felt taller! Pretty sure that I’ll be a bit beaten up and sore tomorrow but already I can tell it’s so worth it. I will be getting in every month from now on. Top job Folks!

Amazing place and experience from start to finish. Very warm welcome and professional business. I visited for a traditional Thai Massage as I suffer from tight muscles with my job. My masseuse was called Lek and even though she said she was new to the business, she was amazing and I felt a little beat up and sore but that is exactly what you are in for with a decent Thai Massage! 100% recommend!

May possibly be the best massage I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Amazing. I’ve walked past this place tons of times and wondered about it and took a chance on it the other day while I was dropping off my bike next door. Super clean and professional, everyone is SO nice!, I can’t say enough positive, glowing things about it. I’ve never felt better - all my aches and pains seem to have magically melted away after my 60-minute massage. I will be booking another much sooner than planned!

Had the most amazing massage from the lovely Jai tonight! I cant remember ever having such a fantastic deep tissue. The staff are so welcoming, warm and friendly from the moment you step inside. I'm so glad to have found this little hidden gem just off Byres Road. Thank you for fixing an achy hairdressers back, I feel so much lighter. Can't wait for my next visit!

Honestly the best Thai massage I’ve ever had. Jasey was brilliant - very intuitive, pinpointed where my tensions were right away, and was very thorough. I came in as a bag of knots and she melted them away! The staff at reception is also very friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back, thank you very much Jasey and Lan Thai Massage!

Great place for an amazing foot massage or traditional Thai massage. They use an incredible amount of pressure, which is perfect for those that don't want some relaxing Swedish massage and really need the aches and pains worked on.

If I should give a title to this review that would be: "Top Massage but avoid unless you are looking for a party!" Due to the excellent reviews, I wanted to give this place a try, which I did today. By the time I arrived, everything appeared to be in excellent condition, with a high level of attention to detail. I'm pretty sure the person who massaged me was either the owner or someone very high up. Now, if I had to rate only the massage, I'd give it a 5/5, the best massage you could hope for, especially because she seems to know exactly which part of your back needs extra attention. The first 30 minutes were incredible, and the level of relaxation was at an all-time high. The other 30 minutes were just Unreal! 1) I could hear customers leaving and talking very loudly without anyone informing them that someone was getting a massage next door. 2) The staff seemed to be having a great time, laughing and talking loudly despite the fact that we were right next door. 3) The phone at the front desk never stopped ringing, and it was so loud that I thought it was in the same room as me. 4) I could hear a child screaming, crying, and making a lot of noise. He was about to open the door where we were and no one of the parents told him to stop. I must say that the lady who gave me the massage apologised to me several times after she noticed I was becoming dissatisfied. 5) I could always hear the door slamming as people entered and exited. 6) Someone came to the same room where I was (maybe some of the staff) to sleep in a bed that was just next to mine and divided by a simple curtain. Again, the woman who was massaging me said to this person something in their language just to make clear that we were there. 7) I could hear the Subway from the underground every 5 minutes. Now, if there is no solution for the Subway, which is why I was perfectly fine with it and I'm only mentioning it as an "add-on" to the rest, the other 6 noise problems could have easily been avoided and fixed immediately with a minimum of attention. What they needed to do was recognise that their location is a business, and that money is exchanged for a service, which in this case is massage. If you go to a posh and expensive restaurant in town, you expect the service to be spotless as well as the food. Would you be pleased if they seated you and your partner at a table near the kitchen, where you could hear rock music playing and the chefs swearing, shouting, and arguing? Would you say it was a worthwhile experience for the price you paid? Would you classify it as a customer experience at all? I wouldn't, and I'm sure no one else would either. I was looking at the clock on the wall ten minutes before the end of the massage, looking forward for the end of the massage, and when that moment arrived, I was overjoyed to finally leave and never return. The lady who gave me the massage was aware of my dissatisfaction, but she made no request for feedback, and no discount was offered as a result of the poor service. I honestly can't believe how you're supposed to go for a Massage, which is supposed to be about "relaxation," and you end up annoyed and rushing out because you feel like you wasted your money. I'm not interested in hearing from you because, regardless of what you say, I'll never return, and if someone were to ask me about a good place to get a massage, I'd tell them to avoid you. Also keep in mind that I'm not giving 1 star only because the massage was excellent, but the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing.

I had a wonderful aroma Thai massage. Lovely Thai therapist and professional. I personally prefer a lot of pressure for massage and my therapist did just what I asked for :) The place is bright and clean and still very relaxing there regardless of the tiny room size. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a proper Thai massage.

I highly recommend going here the room was small but you not paying for room size you paying for great massage with friendly staff and mine masseuse was a laugh but confirm on the pressure and talked with me during the harder stretches,

I would highly recommend Lan Thai. I booked in for an hours Traditional Thai Massage due to a really sore lower back. When I arrived Jane discussed with me where I was sore and adapted her massage to a combination of Traditional Thai and deep tissue which was perfect. I have no hesitations about going back.

A new salon opened just recently just off the heart of the busy Byres Road. Having just returned to work just after the Christmas holiday excesses I was in need of a tender rubdown. My therapist Aee gave me a warm welcome and showed me into the therapy booth which was cosy and warm. This is a specialist Thai massage salon but they also can do regular therapy like Swedish or aromatherapy massage. You get to choose your oil and I opted for premium coconut oil. The treatment starts off with a firm pressure technique which helps to "push out" the muscles. The therapist then worked muscles with the oil I never knew existed using different techniques and methods including forearm elbow and hands. As you begin to feel the immediate relaxation of the massage my therapist was always checking to see if I was comfortable with her movements. The treatment concluded with a head rub and a moment by yourself to relax. After a deep sleep the next morning I awoke to feeling as if a couple of years had been wiped off my age timeline. I felt more flexible and confident. I would recommend this salon if you are in need of muscle treatment or a relaxation treat, better in my opinion than any detox clinic or fancy vitamin smoothie.

A wonderfully warm and welcoming staff team led by Ae, the owner and manager. Ae, herself is a gifted masseuse, very knowledgeable regarding working muscles after sport. She also intuitively finds where the stress knots are, and releases the stress, leaving you feeling refreshed and invigorated. I left , walking on air. I highly recommend Lan Thai. Michael
