I booked in with Ann to see if acupuncture would help with my menopause symptoms and also my struggle with bowel movements. I noticed a big difference straight away after my first session. My hot flushes had reduced and I didn't feel as bloated. I have had 8 sessions with Ann and will continue to have sessions for the foreseeable future. I very rarely now have hot flushes and I have bowel movements every morning like clockwork and has been like this for the past 10 months. I have no horrible bloat feeling at all. Ann is the loveliest person and makes me feel so at ease and relaxed. The environment she has set up is also so relaxing and calm. I finish each session feeling amazing. I have suffered with migraines for as long as i can remember, but in the last few years they have really intensified. I found Ann locally, and since my first session i haven't had so much as a headache! I booked in with Ann for nerve pain in my head. After having an op earlier in the year for my septum it helped breathing but the pain never went and drs told me there was nothing else they could do apart from medication. My drs had never met Ann! Within the first session not only did she work on this nerve pain and sinus issues she also noticed that I was bloated and help me with bowel issues and my cycle. Since then I have not taken any medication whatsoever, the pain in my head has gone, my stomach isn’t as bloated, I’m more regular with everything. I went for treatment in February 2021. At the time I was suffering from tinnitus. I can only speak very highly of Ann, in my case she was amazing! She managed to give me respite from my condition. Unfortunately my tinnitus cannot be treated, but I learned how to imaged it. While having treatments Ann identified I was suffering of tension headaches, due to stress. She in cluded this in the treatments I was already receiving. Have been headache free for almost 2 years! I went to see Ann in July 2020 regarding my painful tennis elbow. Right from the beginning of meeting her and having my first session of acupuncture, the experience has been truly wonderful. I am no longer in pain after having 6 sessions and feel so much better. My GP initially diagnosed me with the condition and suggested a possible course of Cortisone injections, but even he wasn't convinced they would work, so I declined to take that further. I then saw Ann's website and was immediately impressed. She is very welcoming and makes you feel relaxed and calm. She has such a knowledge and understanding of your needs and is there to answer any questions. She also fitted appointments around me if I had to change them and this was great. I was so impressed with the results Ann achieved with my wife's foot I decided to give it a try. I'm a runner and was suffering with knee pain in both knees. I'd had keyhole treatment on both knees a few years before but was suffering again. Ann's treatment was brilliant. It settled the inflammation from the first session. I was able to start running again. The inflammation came back but not as severe. Each treatment settled my knees down while letting me keep running. I'm now back running 3 times a week and have Ann to thank for it. I wish I'd gone to her sooner. She's amazing.

Ann's treatment skills are fantastic. My 77 year old dad is halfway through his treatment plan and his results are amazing. He couldn't walk very well and dragged one foot on the ground. His walking now is nothing short of a miracle. He rarely uses his walking stick and picks both feet up when walking. Ann is also treating him for nerve pain and COPD. The difference in his breathing is remarkable. Ann is also treating my sister for fibromyalgia. Ann is very professional and knowledgeable, she takes the time to explain what she is doing and what results she expects from the treatment. Her therapy room is relaxing. Labour Pain Relief I had spoken to Ann in relation to the final stages of my first pregnancy and what treatment would help me get through labour without taking any pain relief medication. Ann suggested battlefield acupuncture so I contacted her as soon as the strong established labour pains started. Ann was so kind to fit me in straight away in such a short time. The battlefield acupuncture instantly began to work and take the edge off the pains and I managed to only have gas and air in the latter stages of a very difficult labour before my son arrived. Following his birth I was clear headed and not at all sleepy. Ann was amazing during the whole process and I couldn’t recommend her more highly for this type of acupuncture for any expectant mums looking for an alternative to pain management medication during labour.

I found Ann after being recommended acupuncture for stress, anxiety, chronic headaches, hip and back pain by a physiotherapist. My first session was overwhelmingly positive, a massive release of tension and emotion that I had been carrying for years. The following days I felt very achy, which Ann warned me may happen. As each weekly session went by, so many of my symptoms improved, the first being a disappearance of the night sweats. The brain fog lifted, and I was able to make life changing decisions that I had been struggling to make. I generally feel I have slowed down, become much calmer, able to sleep better, less frequently or intensely anxious and more aware of what my body and mind need. I’ve gone from being scared to exercise because of potential pain, to being able to walk for 30 mins twice daily without pain. The headaches have been more persistent, but it’s been a few weeks since my last and I was experiencing them most days. My skin is glowing, people keep telling me how well I look and the acne I had on my back has cleared. I’ve been so relaxed during the past few sessions I’ve almost fallen asleep on the heated bed. I’m going to carry on with the acupuncture monthly. It’s such a powerful form of treatment that I 100% recommend to anybody struggling with similar symptoms.

I have suffered with chronic migraines for years, however they’ve become worse since I had my daughter. I had a really positive experience and amazing results after a acupuncture session with Ann. I’ve suffered with neck, shoulder and upper back pain for years. On a day when I visited her I came with pain 7 out of 10. Firstly she used semi-permanent gold needles in my ears which massively reduced the pain within minutes. Then she used electro acupuncture on my neck, shoulder and back. She adjusted the strength so I could feel comfortable and I was able to relax. After the the treatment was finished I felt no pain at all! Ann was very nice and reassuring and talked through every step of the procedure which was good for me as it was my first time when I had an acupuncture treatment. Definitely recommend!

Ann is amazing. I first went to see her suffering with anxiety after being in a traffic incident. Over a 6-week course my confidence grew and I felt able to tackle new challenges in my life. Ann is amazing!! I went to her as I had a frozen shoulder and was in severe pain with it, I couldnt lift my arm up and had to use my left hand to hold my right arm up. I contacted Ann predominantly because I had been suffering from Sibo and was experiencing a lot of pain and digestive issues. Ann responded to my message straight away and arranged a consultation. I was a bit nervous as nothing else was working and I was a little apprehensive about having acupuncture. My fears quickly dissipated after speaking with Ann as she was so kind and patient and really took her time taking a detailed history and explaining how the treatment worked. I have just finished a 6 session course of Acupuncture with Ann for my severe hay fever. Ann is very professional but she is also very friendly and and her passion for acupuncture and it's incredible benefits is clear to see. Absolutely fantastic. I had suffered from eczema since I was 6 months old, mainly on my arms and face, since visiting Ann my eczema has completely cleared up and have been a lot less itchy. I had tried many different topical steroids from doctors but nothing seemed to work. My energy levels have improved and have felt so much calmer. I'm a medical doctor who had COVID in Oct 2020 & then developed Long COVID. I turned to "alternate" therapies in desperation to be honest, but was told by a doctor colleague about how acupuncture helped her. I had 6 sessions with Ann focusing on pain from autoimmune arthritis, stress, immune system & fatigue, as well as some work on the vagus nerve (Long COVID caused dysatuonomia & I wondered if it would help). I noticed an immediate response to battlefield acupuncture in my first session - within minutes my back pain was gone & I almost cried. I couldn't believe it! It has challenged my preconceived ideas that I was taught at medical school & I'm reading into the science much more now. Over the 6 week course, my fatigue improved, my heart rate lowered (it was always very high from long COVID) & my back pain disappeared. One week I had developed mouth ulcers so she focused on my immune system & within a day, they started healing. I'm now going to have maintenance sessions every so often. Ann explained everything really well, her treatment room was relaxing & one week I even fell asleep. I was nervous before the first session, just because of the unknown, but Ann worked with this & eased me in. The needles sometimes sting but barely! I didn't have any bruises or marks. I came to Liverpool to visit my daughter. Before I went to Ann's acupuncture session I had chronic back and neck pain which has troubled me daily for about 15 years. My first session I went to I arrived with more pain than I'd felt in a long time and at the end of the session I was pain free all over. I attended A&E in the early hours of Sunday morning with excruciating neck, shoulder, arm and back pain. This pain was heightened as I already suffer with Fibromyalgia. My diagnosis was a locked muscle that was causing spasms, something that could be ongoing for the next couple of months. I was sent away, still in unmerciful pain but with a course of tablets recommended to ease my discomfort. That evening, as the pain worsened, my daughter suggested I contacted her friends mum, a specialist in acupuncture. Ann was more than happy to offer her services at the drop of a hat. After working her magic, my family could not believe what they were witnessing and within minutes of the treatment ending, I was able to move around pain free. Ann went above and beyond to continue decreasing my pain level at each stage of the treatment and by the end, I had gone from a 10 to 0, it was unbelievable. It’s taken me a while to get around to write this review because I have too many things to say and Ann is actually Wonder Woman! Here’s the short version: Having loved acupuncture in the past I really missed the health benefits when my sessions stopped whilst relocating cities and I struggled to find someone in Liverpool. Then one afternoon whilst feeling exhausted, unhealthy and the aging signs were become more visible I did another search on Google and found the lovely Ann. Whilst I was initially interested in acupuncture on my body and mostly my back to improve my general well being I spotted that Ann also offered a great cosmetic acupuncture service. I’m a fan of natural beauties such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Rachel Stevens & noticed it was a regime they swear by so I thought I’d give it a go. From the initial enquiry, consultation to the sessions Ann made me feel so at ease right away, she is so warm friendly, skilled and extremely professional. I find the sessions to be brilliant value for money as Ann really cares for you, she also has a PEMF mat that really soothes, relaxes ands heals your body whilst the acupuncture is taking place. She then uses a number of fab skin care gadgets after the acupuncture so my skin gets such a treat. Even though I wanted the focus on my face during the sessions she always takes time to ask about my general health & always-kindly pops in extra points on my body if I’m struggling with sleep or my immune system etc. I asked Ann to target areas like crows feet and my many laughter lines and within just 2-3 sessions I really notice they softened, I know acupuncture will never make them go away but they look reduced, my skin overall had a lovely glow. My face felt instantly lifted and tightened and a lot plumper. I completed a course of 10 in around 6 weeks and by sessions 5/6 so many people were commenting saying I looked different and well. I have always been told I have high cheekbones but many commented that my cheekbones were looking more sculpted and someone even asked if I had my cheeks done! As a vegetarian I really struggle with lack of collagen and I love knowing that the sessions boost it within my body naturally. I also struggled with a medical condition called TMJ where my jaw was incredibly painful and it can be agonising when I feel tense or stressed. I just chatted to the lovely Ann about it and had no idea that she could help with acupuncture too. After just a few sessions the tension and pain dramatically reduced and around session 7/8 it no longer existed. It had been a health issue for years and something I thought I just always had to put up with but it completely got rid of it. The facial acupuncture had also really been easing the tension I get around my eyes, as I tend to grind my face when I’m overworked. Whilst I do love a good facial I’d choose a session with Ann over it any day because not only does it improve the condition of my skin, my mood is better, my wellbeing, sleep and energy levels. After doing the initial course of 10, I now to go Ann 1-2 times a month to keep on top of my skincare (I’d go every week if I could). However due to travel and work commitments I had almost a 2.5 month break and in the later months I really noticed the difference and missed the acupuncture benefits so much. I’m now back in a routine again and after 1 session just the other day I feel like a new person! I tell everyone about acupuncture and Wonder Woman Ann because she is just brilliant and so is the treatment! I also find many people feel so pressured to try the many face enhancing treatments out there and acupuncture should definitely be recommended within society more. I’m not someone who will ever touch anything un-natural or put cosmetic toxins in my body so I’m just so glad I have found an alternative method that’s great for my overall health and mind too. This might sound cheesy but my face looks better because of Ann’s magic!

I've been treated by Anne a good few times for back pain. I train too much despite injuries, sit at a desk all day and have a long commute to work - all of which has contributed to painful recurring back spasm. I have known Ann for quite a few years as our children were at primary school together, i bumped into her a few months ago and started telling her about a very painful shoulder problem I have and she adviced me to give the accupunture a try . prior to my treatment from Ann I have had three cortizone injection and three lots of physio then dicharged and the problem just comes back,I had an X-ray earleir this year and the results were an fairly large inpingement in my shoulder I have not been able to sleep for months with the pain especially at night. I could not even lift my arm to shoulder height without excrutiating pain , could not hang washing out ,struggled to dry my hair and many more everyday things. on my first treatment and consultation with Ann she explained eveything to me and told me that you usually feel the most benefit after the 4th treatment from course of 6 . First of all she inserted some Battlefield Accupunture in my ear and then asked me to raise my arm as high as I could if possible Oh my goodness I could not believe , i was able to raise my arm full above my head with no pain at all am sleeping so much betterI have full range of movement, I can drive without pain, this has just made the world of difference to me on a daily basis I am so impressed with this . Ann is so good at what she does and she is so caring and very passionate about her profession , i am so sorry I did not try this a long time ago and know for a fact I will have other treatments in the future for anything else that may arise. I went to Anne with Fibromyalgia problems, and Arthritis mainly cervical spondylosis neck pain. I had previously exhausted all the treatment the hospital pain clinic were able to offer. Anne made me feel relaxed. She is easy to talk to, and soon realised where my main worries lay. The treatment was amazing. I had six sessions. I went home after the first session virtually pain free, having arrived in a lot of pain. The pain free effect lasted a few days. As the sessions increased, so did the length of time pain free. I have had cervical Spondylosis for over fifteen years, the pain of which was gradually getting constant and worse, also causing regular migraines . In six sessions over three months Anne managed to reduce the pain to a level of Zero to three out of ten, with only the occasional flare to nine / ten out of ten. I haven't been to see her since the sessions finished in December 2015, I am able to manage the day to day living that was so difficult previously. I have waited this long (9 months) to leave feedback, as I wanted to see how long I would last before needing more and leave honest comments. To say I am pleased with the results is an understatement. I would certainly recommend her as an acupuncturist, and would have no hesitation in visiting her again in the future, should I need to.
