Got a Time Out voucher for a massage at Mara's and it was fantastic! The massage studio is a 3 minute walk from Queensway tube station. Not only was it a great deal, but Liva was so kind, friendly, and positive, and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The room was very clean, calm, nicely decorated, and smelled very nice. The massage was fantastic. Liva used some nice smelling oils on my face and body which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this place and will surely be back!

My daughter and I booked massages via an offer too. So glad we did. Have had loads of different types of massages over the years but their holistic therapy had a healing effect, especially for my daughter, who had been recovering from a recent illness. We're just about to book a block of treatments, that's how impressed we both were.

Booked an hour's aromatherapy massage through a deal on Time Out London, and absolutely so glad I did. On arrival in reception it looks more like a hostel, but Liva was so friendly and once I got in the room it felt like a true pamper experience - lovely lighting, warm and the fragrant aromatherapy oils. The treatment itself was perfect & Liva tailored it to exactly what I wanted/areas to focus on etc. Very happy, thank you!!

Had a wonderful Indian Head Massage with Liene and I'd highly recommend that you give Mara Holistic Therapies a try. They are very competitively priced, and the treatment room is beautiful, comfortable and calming. Liene was friendly, kind and gave a wonderful massage. 10/10.

Perhaps the best massage I have had - superior to brand name spas and to expensive massages in Asia. Every movement was thought out and counted. Liene, the therapist (yes, more of a therapist than a masseuse) cared about the outcome and that makes a world of difference. She used a surprising combination of techniques, adapted to the knots, it felt tailor-made. I could tell she has studied many techniques and has significant experience - which she confirmed. But beyond technique, she was generous and present. She used ultra high quality natural oils (I believe almond) which she had herself combined with essentiel oils, the result was far superior to the use of cheap industrial products used in most spas. She even ended the session with cleansing herbs and a singing bowl. I naturally slept more deeply than usual afterwards, I had more energy the next days and feel more balanced and focussed. It felt like a holiday - and I lost track of time. My friends asked me not to post my review to avoid there being a waiting list for when they go, but it's only fair that, when people finally invest in treating themselves and giving themselves some quality time, that they get the best returns by going to the best. It's also only fair that the best therapists get the clients they deserve. It is possible to discuss a full programme to maximise the long term benefits and make a real change: few therapists care about accompanying their clients through long term changes. If I lived in London, I'd go every week. Finally, the room has really nice energy, it is a clean space and I felt totally disconnected from the outside world. Words don't really do it justice - you must try for yourself. As another reviewer wrote, the therapist is caring. That is priceless. And it was far superior to massages which cost multiples of the price - where the masseuse (not therapist) didn't care, followed learnt movements without paying full attention to my actually needs - and used inferior products. Who would I recommend this to? Anyone who cares about truly being the centre of attention during the session, who feels they deserve a therapist who is 100% attentive to them at all times and who cares about them, someone to is ready to receive caring from a generous therapist and who values truly disconnecting and enjoying a small holiday - also someone who values the money they invest.
