I'm a current student of Level 5 Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Remedial Therapy approaching the end of a course. I knew from the beginning that I'm in a great learning environment. School has been recommended to me by the team of osteopaths I work with. Very knowledgeable and supportive along the course. Plenty of opportunities to work at the students clinic too. Great tutors, great atmosphere. Highly recommend to everyone wanting to begin their career in soft tissue therapy.

I started training with the NLSSM back in mid-2020 and now approach the end of the course. From start to finish, the course has been fun, enjoyable, challenging and incredibly rewarding. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and their passion for Sports Massage and Remedial Therapy is infectious! The support throughout has been exceptional, with help always to hand if needed. The NLSSM instructors create a very relaxed, open and cohesive environment with each session being an absolute pleasure to attend. The course I attended happened to fall throughout the pandemic and credit is due to the NLSSM for steering my class throughout these unprecedented times, ensuring constant communication and clarity throughout. I cannot speak more highly of the NLSSM. I have learnt so much and now I am excited to continue developing my skills and knowledge as a therapist. I highly recommend the NLSSM to anyone considering a qualification in Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy.

The quality of this course cannot be underestimated and the amount of hands on time was great, giving us a great insight was the diploma has to offer. All the tutors were excellent and the teaching was high quality, with different methods of teaching, throughout the course. I could not recommend it more. I’ve trained at a number of schools for my various qualifications, culminating most recently in my Level 5 BTEC in Sports Massage & Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy. I researched other training providers but chose NLSSM as it seemed the most professional in its approach and publicly has the most active and supportive graduate community, which was important to me as whilst training is essential having a go to group when working is more so. The course started well and then Covid arrived! But the NLSSM team got to grips with the situation quickly, and despite all the challenges I completed my training only a month or so later than originally anticipated. The tutors were knowledgeable, and happy to share more than just topics from the curriculum, keeping the subject matter relevant to the real world. The shift to online learning was very well managed, and in fact some of it I hope will be kept as I feel it really added to the depth of learning that I enjoyed. Students ranged from the young to the old, some with no experience and some with years of experience, but the pace was well set and the disparity of knowledge well handled. Having now graduated I have made some lifelong friends from the course, and am enjoying the community of NLSSM graduates spread nationwide and further afield. I’d be happy to speak to anyone considering doing this course to answer any questions and assuage any doubts they might have, as this was the best training school I have attended.

I was really apprehensive about studying again after so long but from the moment I attended the initial induction weekend, I felt like I was part of a family. The Tutors are so knowledgeable, friendly and patient and even when we were unable to attend classes in person due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff and tutors were quick to set up online learning, zoom meetings and quizzes so our course and learning could continue. It's thanks to them that I recently gained my BTEC level 5 Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy diploma and I've also made new friends for life! I highly recommend NLSSM.

I'm currently in the middle of the course (Level 5 Diploma) and already can tell it was really great decision to start it with NLSSM. Was worried that I'll have difficulties with the language (English is not my first language) but it's not a problem at all. The quality of teaching is high, but without confusing students, especially if you don't have any background in medical science. If you're looking to become sports massage therapist, this school will prepare you for your new career.

I was a student at the NLSSM from 2008 to 2009 and since then have also taken further CPD with the school. Since Qualifying I have been able to build run a highly successful business Equilibrium . I work from home with wide variety of people of all ages and have an active client base now over 3000 local and international people. The level of tuition and skills I have learned through them was fundamental in setting up my clinic, I cannot rate them highly enough. I have sent several other potential students to them for training and will continue to do so. Susan and her team are second to none.

I first attended the student clinic here, for treatment. I was so impressed with the set up and the standard of the students, in comparison to a lot of remedial work I'd had done previously, that I signed up for the course myself as i was looking for a career change anyway. It was a huge challenge, but I learned a huge amount and now have the highest possible qualification available to massage students in this country (BTEC lvl5). I can't fault the teaching, support, the facilities or the way it challenged me to think about anatomy and physiology and how much we can do to help improve physical performance. I also picked up some great new friends and acquaintances. I've been back for several extra courses to further my knowledge and they have all been excellent. If you're looking to further your knowledge about soft tissue either as a professional or an amateur (the introductory weekends are great!), or get a very reasonable treatment, then i feel that you can't go wrong here.

I've worked at many sporting events, with professional and amateur teams and athletes, and with therapist from all over Europe. I have no hesitation in pitching my skills against therapists, physios, chiros, osteos and sports rehabilitators from across Europe confident in the theoretical knowledge and physical therapy skills gained by studying at NLSSM. This is not an easy course to pass, so be prepared to study hard and to invest in your development with the best massage training school in the UK, bar none.
