I first discovered Rikyu when I was given a hot stone massage as a gift. The atmosphere, tucked away on a mainly residential street feels like a Japanese oasis or a secret hideaway in North London. It is serene with a simple Japanese decor. Since only one customer can be treated at a time it feels safe, which for me is currently very important. The stone massage was amazing and I actually fell asleep. I've since been back and had an equally amazing Hawaiian massage. The treatment on both occasions was way above the quality of massages I've had at other places.

Booked another 90 minute full body holistic massage. Always enjoyable and thoroughly professional. Therapist used variety of techniques and acupressure. Have had facials there, too which is a necessary indulgence/reward! Always a 5 star service with a warm welcome. Thank you so much!

Probably, by far best facials and massage I came across. The salon is very cosy, in Japanese style. It's only one room, so one person at a time could be there, which makes it more relaxing. Every time I just switch off at some point and fall asleep. Facials are done on Japanese Rice Force cosmetics and South African Environ. After 4 treatments you become a member and have a discount.

Ann Marie gave me a fabulous facial , which really improved the appearance of my skin , it was glowing after . I had a body massage , with Ann Marie also , which was wonderful . I felt welcome , comfortable and totally relaxed after my treatments . Would highly recommend the salon .

It is always a trek to get into Rikyu from Windsor but always so worthwhile. I decided to do the MATSU treatment (3 and a half hours!) as I have been accumulating quite a lot of stress from working non-stop and needed a lot of TLC. The pre-therapy communication and COVID-19 cleanliness standards were impeccable. Rika (an experienced Japanese therapist from Osaka) did her magic so that I relax fully: 1) I got pampered with a sensational circular brush cleansing 2) hot stone therapy, 3) a full body aromatherapy massage, 4) luxurious facial and 5) Japanese face massage! I feel like someone plugged me in for days and my batteries are overflowing! It’s like getting that holiday relaxation in just 3.5 hours! This is the best treatment I have had in the whole of Europe - it is worth every penny! Thank you for your exceptional treatment, Japanese hospitality and total relaxation. I will be coming back and recommend RIKYU with 5 stars!

Very good deep tissue massage, the massage studio has a unique Japanese style décor, it's in a courtyard, in a quiet residential street. The therapist was very friendly and I was offered tea after the massage.

I have to admit that I am a personal friend of the owner Emi, however I would strongly recommend this salon. My treatments go back over 11 years and if you want a relaxed, professional experience you definitely won't find anywhere better in London. As I say, I am biased but please give it a go. You won't regret it. 👍👍
