On New Year’s Eve, my husband asked me what the highlights of 2021 were. Without a second thought I said Deborah and Restoring Health. For the past 22 years I have been having serious health issues due to a whiplash incident that caused me Vagus Nerve damage. The Vagus nerve is one of the most important cranial nerves that connects to many organs in the body (the lungs, heart, brain, eyes, ears, gut are only few) so my health issues have manifested in different organs. I had severe ear, neck, jaw, shoulder pain with unbearable headaches. I started losing my teeth and my dentist insisted ‘you don’t have a dental issue but a nerve issue’. My gut has struggled to function properly. Since the gut is considered the bodies ‘second brain’, the nerve damage has also affected my mental health giving me bouts of anxiety, depression, and irritability. I believe the body can heal itself if it is given a chance. Over the years I have sought many different treatments; but nothing worked for me. I finally gave up and accepted that the daily pain was a fact of life. Then my husband discovered Restoring Health! He was suffering from arm, shoulder, and neck pain himself due to an accident. I remember his comments when he returned home from his very first treatment. He said: ‘I’ve never felt better. These people are amazing! You must try them too!’ Over several months, my husband tried persuading me to book an appointment with Restoring Health, but I refused. I had enough of trying and did not want another disappointment. Then one day, I became temporarily blind in one eye due to my nerve damage, the doctors could not help me, they said ‘we need to wait and see what happens’. In desperation, I decided to try a few sessions with Restoring Health and have not regretted this. It turned out to be a lifesaving and life-changing experience that I waited too long to experience! What is very apparent is that Doctors do not consider nerve health, muscular health or strength or full body dynamics. Restoring Health do all of these and treat you holistically, looking at all your issues to resolve them. For me, I have multiple issues so my recovery journey may be a long but with the results I have experienced so far with Restoring Health is a hopeful and exiting journey! The Restoring Health Team, led by Deborah show diligence, kindness, caring, and attention to detail. Professionalism summarises this team. The word ‘tailored to your needs’ really stands out as the whole team share information and understanding to give you the best treatments and fastest results they can so that your life and fitness improves. The available treatments are plentiful, and I am now on soft / deep tissue massage (which is wonderful!) accompanied with expert advice, stretching exercises and various machine treatments that have changed by body. I am now more flexible, my movement has improved, I have fewer headaches and can do more with less pain. The practice is very well equipped and has the latest technologies to help meet your wellness needs. The premises are very pleasant, charming, eclectic, glamorous yet homely, with relaxed textiles mixed with iconic lighting designed by Jeremy. There is also Leo, a loveliest cat who is friendly, fun and who really uplifts your spirits when he comes to say hello. As a part of my wellness goals, I have also recently introduced to a highly qualified nutritionist by Deborah for which I am also grateful. Restoring Health are very good value for money and the results you receive are lifesaving and changing. My personal tip is to use their Curatron! It is a PEMF (pulse electromagnetic treatment) therapy machine. If you are suffering from circulatory issues, you must try this machine as it gives fast results with demonstrable improvement. I cannot recommend the Restoring Health Team enough. I very rarely do testimonials but for Deborah and her wonderful Team (Leo too) it is my pleasure!

What can I say about Restoring Health? Well, it’s amazing! I’ve been coming to see Beth (and Deborah on occasion) for a few years for recurring shoulder issues and I would not go to anyone else. The girls are extremely professional and the clinic is maintained to the highest standard. The clinic is very clean and in the last few months the girls have worked really hard to make sure all COVID 19 precautions are met. It definitely puts your mind at ease in these strange times. From Angie Ryan, former adult nurse Having done my nurse training and ward work before the advent of all the wonderful lifting and handling gadgets now there for the staff, my back took the toll and I suffered a prolapsed lumbar disc 30 years ago. Surgery worked but subsequently suffered episodes of acute and excruciating muscle spasm up my back. I have hobbled in to Deborah and she has been so wise in her care, meaning that it was managed and improved in a timely and effective way. These episodes have not continued since I started going to Deborah and I am now receiving PEMF to activate the muscles and ensure that I remain in good condition as the years go on. I can genuinely say that her professional knowledge and the application of that has made all the difference and is worth every penny. I have now decided to continue investing in treatment on a regular monthly basis as I feel the benefit to me has been such a relief. I would add that is is important to do the prescribed home exercises and that compliments what is done in each treatment session. I thoroughly recommend a visit to Deborah and her team.
