I would highly recommend Mat, for offering an excellent service. He was extremely friendly and polite. The sports massage has made a significant difference to me. It has improved my posture and general wellbeing. He was able to explain the treatment plan that he will be doing before the massage. He had good knowledge about the techniques he was using. Mat is definitely a chill guy and very professional, someone I would highly recommend. Through my consultation with him, he quickly identified the problem as sciatica. He also figured out a few other problems in relation to it. Not only did I receive a professional massage and to my surprise a quick cupping session, but also the important aftercare and physio plan to keep his clients on the road to recovery (which I find is just as important). I already feel amazing and a lot of restrictions that I previously had, has provided some relief and less stiff. It's my first time going anywhere for a massage, I will 100% be coming back here for another session. Mat definitely makes you feel relaxed as possible during the massage and I like the fact that he talks to his client and gets to know them. I recommend this highly, especially for back issues or trapped nerves.

I went to Mat as I feared I had an injury for running but through the consultation he found that I was not injured, rather my muscles and joints were tight, knotty and not working effectively through motion. He then took remedial action and I have to say that just after 1 day I noticed a huge difference. It has immediately had a positive impact and I can already feel an improvement allowing me to run pain free again. The service was professional, friendly and the follow up made made a big difference to the service. Highly recommended!!!

I went to see Matt with a pain in my lower back. As a footballer of over 20 years, I’d never been for a sports massage and didn’t really know what to expect. Matt explained everything clearly to me about why he was doing certain things and what it means. What impressed me most was his knowledge. While the pain was in my lower back, he isolated the source in my upper leg. After a gruelling hour massage (that’s what happens when you don’t have one for 20 years and have zero flexibility!), Matt explained the process going forward. I had a game the next day, and for the first time in almost a year, I had zero pain in my back. It’s the start of a long process to rebuild my flexibility but I highly highly recommend Matt for any physical niggles, aches or pains 🙌🏻

Mat came recommend to me and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough too. He’s really help reset me after years of training and several injuries. On my first exam, he noticed multiple issues including my right shoulder being higher than my left and both being raised to an unhealthy level. He was able to reset this by releasing a trapped nerve in the middle of my back (of which I was unaware as I’d just gotten used to it). He has helped me with an emergency fitting where I pulled my lower back resulting in sciatica causing nasty pain. Further, he’s also worked his magic relieving a trapped nerve in my lat where I could hardly move. Basically, I’d be in a mess right now without his assistance. Mat’s a top lad and really goes out of his way to help. He follows up each session with a physio plan along with texts touching base to see how you are. All in all, he’s helped me massively and I would highly recommend.

I don’t particularly like massages but due to a shoulder injury and shin splints I booked an appointment with Mat. His intelligent and professional approach put me at ease straight away; he took the time to understand my problem areas as well as doing a full assessment of me. After my first session I felt much more relaxed and now have regular sessions. As well as regular massages Mat gives me stretches and exercises to do throughout the week to speed up recovery. I can’t wish for a better masseur and his knowledge of personal training and the fitness industry is also hugely helpful; he is fantastic.

Been to MSE on a couple of occasions for pain I was experiencing in several areas from my job and workout activities. Mat is really friendly and is informative with what he does and the treatment provided. Follow up plans was also given with stretches I could do to in between the sessions. The place is immaculately clean and street parking in pretty convenient.

I first met Mat when I had a very bad back. Two sessions later I was as good as new! Then along came my knee and he fixed it in no time! Mat is very professional but at the same time friendly and helpful. And after the massage, he always takes some time to put together a program tailored to your needs to help you recover. And he follows it up and checks with you to make sure you are ok. Can't recommend him and MSE Sports massage enough!

I've had a sport massage on my legs and back with Heather from MSE Sports and Remedial Massage. She is able to locate muscular knots and scar tissue easily and help to release the tension. I have some scar tissue on my left calf from a netball injury and seeing Heather has helped my recovery. She's friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this service.

Thank you so much for today . I had the cupping therpy and a sports massage . I suffer so bad every single day and today is the first time i have felt pain free in a very long time . Not now because he went to town on my back which was well needed very attentive he was so helpful friendly and even gave my children a little lesson in where the mussles are located brillent service and very easy to find on the internet will be using you guys again.
