Really enjoyed doing the Reiki 1 course with Richard. Richard is a great teacher and it was lovely to be working in a small group with like-minded people. The whole day was a wonderful experience and a great first introduction to Reiki. I would not hesitate to recommend the Reiki Meditation Centre to everyone who's looking to find peace and balance in their lives.

I have recently attended the Reiki level 2 course with Richard. Richard runs an amazing course, he is supportive, honest and caring in his mentoring. You get to meet him and pick up your manual before the course starts, which removes any awkwardness or anxiety one might have about meeting new people. The course itself was very informative, well laid out and most importantly, a lot of fun. After the course Richard has still been available for support, answering question and giving guidance. I thoroughly recommend Nottinhamshire Reiki and Meditation and I'm looking forward to signing up to do level 3 with them as soon as I can.

In my first session I didn't know what to expect but Richard made me feel extremely comfortable, he is a kind and calm being. when we started the session and closed my eyes and felt very relaxed until the end of the session during the session I could see colors and felt the energy flowing in my body. The experience was so good that after a while I was back to start the level 1 reiki course so I could start self-healing and that was it. and since then I have experienced a lot of good in my life, I feel good about myself and everything is fine in my world. We have been so lucky to have discovered Richard and the Nottinghamshire Reiki and Meditation Centre. We thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of the REIKI 1 day. Feel very privileged to have been taught by someone who literally has decades of depth experience in the field, and the non-commercial ethos of the organisation is refreshing in this day and age. I'd highly recommend anyone thinking of exploring Reiki to just do it, and don't look elsewhere than the Nottinghamshire Reiki and Meditation Centre.

I met Richard at the Newark Wellbeing event last week I Just had a healing session with him and feel so much lighter! His gentle, caring and professional approach was a joy to experience. Richard creates a safe space with boundless positive energy to open up in. He helped me see some tricky situations in my life from a different perspective, helping me let go of the unnecessary guilt I was carrying and enabling me to focus on the positive. I can’t recommend him highly enough, his questioning was spot on and he quickly understood the place I was in. Richard then used various Reiki techniques to help me let go and move forward. Go see him, you won’t be disappointed!

I like this Reiki centre, I have been a few times over the last four months. Its professional, clean and tidy with a good atmosphere and energy. It's open all week, no smoking of course plus I like the fact that the instructors are fully qualified with the Natural and Commentary Hethcare Council. My GP was very keen on recommending Nottinghamshire Reiki maditation and so am I

I really wanted an I site I to what Reiki was, luckily they offer free I formation taster sessions. The instructor, I think her name was niomie, went through what Japanese reiki was and also gave me a session. What impressed me was the fact they are not for profit and raise funds for Marie curie. I was so impressed I am booking on one of their courses next year.

Really glad i found this place. Its been 12 years since i completed my reiki 1 and i was ready to move on to the reiki 2 course. The course guide book and course itself are very detailed and i have learnt so much. Richard is awesome and has so much knowledge, practice and patience. Learning was fun and fascinating. Have taken 1st, 2nd Degree of Eastern Reiki with Teacher/Master Richard of Notts Reiki Academy, Nottingham and I can warmly recommend his style and approach to teaching and support of students and potential students. I am really pleased that I found this Reiki centre. I have been involved with Reiki for several years , actually taking a Reiki level one course a couple of ears ago. But I always thought there was more to reiki than laying on a couch for an hour. At Notts Reiki I was taught abought original Japanese reiki , the meditation, the Reiki precepts that help you in your daily life. It was very impactive , I loved it 😍

I chose this over several others because their staff are DBS checked , members of the healthcare register ,professional and really know their stuff. I would not feel as safe going to someone’s house for reiki or any therapies. So I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
