I have had many massages in the past but this was my first Thai Massage. It was simply the best massage I have ever had and completely different from the ‘standard’ kind. Winan is a fantastic person - charming and professional, with magic hands! I booked her signature Thai Massage with oil and it was an extraordinary experience - both intense and relaxing. I left feeling 2 inches taller and beautifully calm and serene. I wholeheartedly recommend Boon Ruk Sa for an absolutely wonderful massage.

She manages to perfectly combine really effective remedial massage and stretches with relaxation. She tailors the treatment to what I want and what my muscles need at the time. This was my first experience of Thai massage and it was as wonderful as I had hoped. I chose the 60 Minute Signature Massage. Winan is lovely and put me at ease straight away. She is very knowledgeable in her field, helping release longstanding tension and tight muscles in my neck, shoulders and upper back. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage and it was incredible. Winan is professional and welcoming, the space is clean and relaxing and the massage was really top quality. I will be back next time I am in York!

A two hour drive to York became a five and half hour nightmare of diversions when the A1 got blocked and closed. With RA and fibromyalgia reminding me they don’t like hours sat still I awoke the next day crippled and stiff as a board. A quick Google search and I found Boon Ruk Sa and luckily got a speedy appointment. A cracking massage, pretty tough but I needed it. Yet also enjoyable! Hopped off the table and could touch my toes! Lovely room and therapist. Hope to visit next time without so much wrong with me and simply wallow in the oils, stretches, Tiger Balm and healing hands. Recommended.

I just got back from my full body Thai massage treatment and I could not be happier! I showed up embarrassingly late (beware of pedestrian and vehicle traffic at peak times! Also, on street parking only so sometimes takes a minute to find a spot. Leave early if you are going at a peak time! Don't be like me 😅) and was greeted with nothing but kindness and understanding and treated to a fantastic proper Thai massage that worked out a lot of my built up tension.
