Just had my GS1250 Rallye TE serviced with these guys (12K miles). Absolutely first class ...... from the initial discussions with Phil & Mike about the various options through the booking in process and the actual service itself, absolutely delighted. Service done on time and more importantly in accordance with the BMW schedule. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly! Well done lads, see you in 6,000 miles.

So pleased I found this gem of a motorcycle Service / repair centre. Phil and Mike are not only efficient, (which can be a rarity in the industry today), but are also very friendly and welcoming. Their unbounded knowledge and expertise is refreshing; it is a compliment when I say they are "old school", and after 50yrs of owning bikes I hope I can comment with some authority. Happy to highly recommend to anybody, and whichever way you approach their location is a cracking ride as a bonus!

I am very pleased with the service I received at Mid Wales Motorrad. The two gentlemen certainly have a wealth of motorcycle knowledge between them, and were great to talk with. The service and tyre change on my motorcycle was done very quickly and at a very reasonable cost. Excellent ,professional service again. On changing my bike to a R1200RT it was professionally checked over and issues fixed in a timely way. BMW R1250RT Just had a great experience with Mid Wales Motorrad.. Facing a £1600 bill for new downpipes due to defective exhaust valve. Mike was able to solve the problem permanently for less than £100. Whilst there had new tyres front and rear and decided to change the diff oil at the same time.... Cracking job well pleased recommend without hesitation. 5 star service...

These boys are proper bike engineers. I called at about 1pm with my 350 Husqvarna sputtering its guts out on my way to Strata Florida. I limped it in to these boys, at about 3pm after calling them. I was thinking fuel pump relay or fuel pump. Phil, the Silverback engineer and his son, Mike, were expert. Phil heard me run my bike up, ignored my random speculation, got the nearest spark plug to spec he could get in my bike from stock and saved my Welsh trail 3 dayer. Charged half an hours labour for a bit more than half an hour, but got me to take my tank off so he could get to my spark plug. If you like your engineers old school, skilled and "can do" come here. Proper family place with skilled mechanics. Top lads. I can see why people travel here from all over Wales and the Borders. One lad rolled in from Manchester.

What Mike and Phil can do at their new mid wales service centre is excellent, top rate workmanship in great riding county and good value as well. Use them to service my R1150GSA and recommend others to them when i get calls in my own workshop. Good prices on consumables such as tyres etc as well. Recommended.

Very welcoming, two men who know what their doing, can thoroughly recommend them. I thought they were BMW specific but no they will work on most makes of bikes. Bikers come from all over for them to work on their bikes. Many years in the trade vast knowledge of motorcycles.

My first experience with mid wales motorrad. Mike explained what was needed and gave a breakdown of costs. He then contacted me when he diagnosed a further issue with the camshaft sensor and an estimate for repair.i found him to be polite, professional and very knowledgable.He completed the work on time and when i rode home it was a different bike. Will deffo use again in future.

We were traveling from Germany with 2 BMW R 1200 GS in Wales. Suddenly my bike had a sawing idle and misfires when accelerating. We happened to have passed Midwales motorbike the day before and noticed the sign on the road. We drove there directly from our campsite, only 20 km away, the next morning. Unfortunately, the restless idle was no longer there. What luck! Phil and Mike immediately stopped the work in progress and took care of me. A defective ignition coil was diagnosed directly and replaced on the spot. Incidentally, my partner's motorcycle was briefly checked. As we drove on, the sawing idling came back, we drove straight back and now the error was still there. This enabled the defective throttle valve potentiometer to be found as the cause. So that my holiday could continue, Phil installed a used spare part for me and got me a new BMW original part in Cardiff the next day, which he then installed for me at 8pm (!) in the evening. The two in the workshop know what they are doing. They immediately found two independent errors and fixed them as quickly as possible - and saved my vacation. Best recommendation and many, many thanks! If it wasn't so far from Germany, I would go back to Midwales Motorrad for the next service! They have earned 6 stars ****** !

I have just had 36k service on my K1200LT. This is a lot of work which requires a lot of stripping of ' 'Tupperware' before the bike service starts !I have used Mike and Phil's services for 20 years.Mikes level of professionalism is excellent.His long experience and knowledge with BMW is evident.Excellent service all round at a reasonable price. Some amazing riding routes around the location. Highly recommended.

got caught out today with a friend over from belgium on a xt1200 rear brake failure in llandovery was told about these guys so gambled and rode over there hoping they would help. YES bike straight in on the ramp rear brake checked found the problem bleed topped up and sent us on our way asap. wow fab service charged peanuts and a belgium guy could carry on his trip around glourious wales, thank yo so very much.

My bike broke down at 5pm whilst on holiday, the garage collected it within the hour and took it back to theirs. Despite being busy they had looked at it by early afternoon the next day.
