I needed a starter motor for my GSF 650 K8 (bandit) which is water cooled. It's a hard to find part, even new, and the starter motor is different to the K7 and other earlier models. The chap on the phone assured me that they had the correct part, and I checked a few times that it was definitely from a water cooled bandit, the K8 and not the earlier oil or air cooled models. I paid for the part and it arrived promptly. Good. The part was, unfortunately from an earlier oil cooled machine, and did not fit. Not good. I'm unsure how a mistake like this could occur, as they should surely know the origin of parts! I called them up, and they asked me to send it back for a refund. No quibble, no messing around, seemed straightforward. Good. I couriered the part to them, tracked, and when it arrived, I phoned to confirm. They acknowledged receipt and said I should be refunded straight away. Good. Checked my bank account a few days later - no refund. Not good. Phoned a few days later, they apologised, and promised to rectify immediately. Checked my bank account every day for a few days, nothing. Not good. Final call was 10 days after the part arrived back with them. The chap on the phone was apologetic, and promised to process the refund immediately. I'm now waiting for the money to arrive in my account - over £100 inc. postage & VAT! Fingers crossed this time. Update to add that the money did arrive, and they refunded my original postage too. I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt here, and update to 3 stars.

I wanted original silencers and downpipe for my 2003 VFR800. Got them from MT Motorcycles. They took slightly longer to arrive than I thought they would but there was also 24 hours delay be parcelforce. Apart from that everything was extremely well packaged and it was full exhaust system which was in better condition than I had anticipated for an 18 year old system. If I have any need for more used bike parts these guys will be my first place to try.

MT was quick to respond and post out the part I ordered in Dec 2017. For various reasons, I didn't open the parcel until March when I realised it was incorrect. I contacted MT to explain the problem and, after discussion, Mark kindly agreed to take the part back and source the correct one. From my experience, you can't get much fairer than that. Thanks to all at MT for being so understanding.

After receiving a faulty set of carburettors they were quick to find me another set that I could collect which were perfect. With the amount of spares they have in stock I'll no doubt be using them again!
