I was looking for somewhere to take my bike to be repaired as I use it for work and needed it asap. I saw a review for the shed from another lady recommended The Shed so I gave them a try…..I couldn’t of been happier, got me straight in, kept me informed through the repairs, explained everything to me so I knew what was what. Repairs all done and I’ve got my bike back for work. I cannot recommend The Shed enough. I will certainly use them again and would recommend them to any other female bikers for somewhere you can be confident you won’t be ripped off. Thank you The Shed. Keep up the good work!

Today was the second full service I've had with these guys, I will definitely go back when the bike needs another. Nothing is too much trouble for Graham, he pulled out all the stops to get my bike ready for a European trip at short notice. Fran is very friendly on the front desk. 5* - I visited the guys at The Shed after having issues with my bike, I have been to other garages and found them to be very condicending, but not at The Shed. They listened to me trying to explain my problem and didn't make me feel silly at all like other places have. My fault was found and quickly repaired at a great price. I had my CBR954 booked in for the MOT at 09:00. On arrival they had a Mechanic down band short staffed. But this wasn’t an issue as I was out of the door with MOT completed and breaks fluid replaced by 09:40. Highly recommend Motorcycle Garage if your thinking about booking your bike in.

Helpful but did not appear set up for tyres, went in with a slow puncture, September '21 bike, loose wheel, they weren't sure what to do, took to another dealer who popped tyre bead off, advised it was a tubeless tyre with a tube inside as the wheel is spoked. Fitted new tube now.

Despite the distance of 800 miles from my home this is the shop of my choice for all plannable activities on my bikes! Few years ago, I had an oil leak on my way to the TT on the IoM. John saved our lives by doing a great job on my GoldWing and enabled a great vacation on the island. Since then, I visited him a few times for having my bike serviced. I fully trust John's screwdriver and Jennie's pen and will for sure show up again when the next TT will hold place. The only inappropriate thing there is the pricing: too low! :-)

Took my Sinnis here after the chain came off the sprocket and I'd thought it had ripped out a tube from the bike. Little did I know the tube was the overflow and was meant to be leaking. Many mechanics at this point would try to rip you off but this place is faaar from that. Very knowledgeable and friendly people. Would highly recommend.

I took my bike in for MOT and it was done while I waited. I spent time staring at the various bikes outside and characters that appeared. It's a great place to be. John and the team are friendly and helpful, as well as being funny. They'll try and find a solution to your problem to your budget, even if it's nearly impossible. I'd 100% recommend them from anything as simple as a tyre replacement, all the way up to a major service and beyond.

A genuinely great customer service, very friendly and professional. I'd used another shop for a minor repair that left my bike useless after half a mile and a flyover. The experience was fine at the other shop, got the job done done, but didn't have the best call after my second breakdown, leaving me somewhat unwilling to work with them again. Having used The SHED for a flat in the past, I called them and despite a lot of work and staff on courses, was told a diagnosis at least would be done the day they got the bike. By the time I'd finished describing my experience at the shop, the bike was good to go. I admit, it was an embarrassing mistake on my part, probably the easiest repair they've had all year. I'm sure they had a good laugh about it after I'd left, I know I did , but they were professional enough to hold it in while I was there. No charge and they even cleaned by bike up and loaned me a helmet to get on the road. Couldn't complain if I tried.

I heard good things about John and the Shed and thought I should get my AJS Modena booked in there due to a new engine being installed and not running. I was able to bring it in a few days before it was due to get worked on, which helped me out massively. From the off I had a positive feeling about this guy and his place. Within a week had a response from him telling me it’s all running, just awaiting some welding work for the exhaust and then they can MOT it. I received a phone call a few days later to tell me it’s ready to pick it up. I went to collect it, paid the bill and started it off. Well thanks ever so much! I’m overjoyed. Just hearing it running brings a smile to my face. Unfortunately I was hit by a car on the way home, however John pointed me in the direction of a service that would help out. Clearly go above and beyond his profession as a mechanic. All I can say is if you want your MOT, service, and work doing to your motorcycle/scooter/ped, then get yourself booked in. The team are absolutely amazing, fairly priced aswell, which is always a bonus! Cheers again guys! A very happy customer!

John has just fitted me a new rear tire and serviced my brakes and in the past he's fitted everything from new chain and sprocket to a power commander 5 to my bandit 1250. He's a top bloke who in my experience can fix and repair anything motorbike related. I highly recommend the shed. STAY CALM AND VISIT THE SHED!!!

We send all our motorbike wheels, frames and swingarms etc to get the bearings pulled out before powder coating. They also remove and re fit the tyres if need be, again both services we don’t offer.
