Had an exhaust header bolt snap off when trying to fit new nuts. Not only did the guys get the broken stud out but they replaced all 4 header studs with brand new studs and bolts as well as fitting new exhaust gaskets! Cannot recommend highly enough, thank you so much for a quick, efficient, professional and cost-friendly service! I will definitely be going back!

I’ve crashed, banged, and broke my 125 Lexmoto and every time I took it to these guys so much so that it’s gotten to the point of they know it’s me who is calling. I bought an Aprilia Leonardo 300 off eBay in August 2020 and, although it ran well once started, it had difficulty starting from cold. I got round this by pointing a fan heater at it in my garage. This was obviously not a solution for other locations! I finally got around to contacting Kez at Abbey Motorcycles and took it into the workshop at the end of August 2021 for a diagnosis and hopefully a resolution. The fault was a split in, and detachment of, the carburettor flange pipe to the airbox. This was repaired and of course the carburettor needed thoroughly cleaning too. A service and a new tyre followed and the scooter passed its MOT. It now starts on the button and runs very sweetly. Wonderful service from a wonderful team... Thanks Abbey Motorcycles!

I have an old Suzuki GN250 which developed a major engine problem. I was told by another garage (not too far from a well know animal centre) that the bike was beyond repair. The only fix they suggested was a new engine. Then I took it to this garage. What can I say. I have my bike back and it has never sounded or ran so nice. They sorted out the problem without the need for a new engine, some new parts and a lot of work but they were brilliant. The cost was told to me before the work was done. As motorbike repair shops this is simply the best. Also, I must add a special thank you to Keith, he mostly worked on my bike. Not only knowledgeable but a genuine bloke who seemed to really care. Thanks.

These guys are always spot on. They've always helped me out when needed, and at very reasonable prices to. They give excellent advice and are always happy to help. Really friendly service too. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Edit 5/6/19. Today my bike broke down and wouldn't start one of the guys there (sorry I really should have got his name) very kindly offered to come out to my house on his way home! He was here that evening and had the bike back on the road in 10 minutes. Despite my insistence he wouldn't even take a small payment for his time. There's not many places you'd get that kind of service from. Really friendly, good guys. Thank you.

Phoned up these guys mid morning with a few queries about my Mrs bike as it's a Japanese import and didn't know if the parts where available so rang for prices and availability. I got all the information I needed and stock was on the shelf at a good price, plus they could MOT the bike so couldn't not give them a go. Dropped off the bike simple and easy at reception in and out. Got the bike back all fixed and MOT all done no hassle new tyre spot on parts which I supplied all fitted no hassle. Good service good price I would recommend you come and have your bike done here.

Absolute amazing staff and owner I purchased a moped from them and after having it for a while I noticed a few issues with the bike. Very helpful knowledgeable staff, have always known what I wanted, even when I haven't known. Their recommendations on tyres have always been spot on when I've said what I've needed on multiple different bikes, for different purposes. With great, fast fitting. I've also bought bikes from them and found that their prices are extremely competitive and the bikes have been in great condition. They can do just about anything you ask to a bike from mot, servicing to performance upgrades and customisation. In my experience they are very honest and trustworthy, I highly recommend using their services. I won't use anyone else.

Brilliant, friendly, helpful, outstanding customer service, A few weeks ago I called these guys late in the afternoon because my chain was looking loose they waited until I arrived and stayed on to help me out of a whole! Ok so it didn't take long but they didn't have to do that. Try getting that service level from a main dealer with any vehicle.... you won't but even though I'd never used them before or bought a bike from them Abbey Motorcycles did! And I will definitely use them from now on.

Had someone try to steal fuel from my bike by disconnecting the fuel line from the engine. Since I don't know much about motorcycles I assumed it had been cut or a part had been removed (didn't realise it was just disconnected), so I phoned up these guys to ask for help. I explained that I wouldn't be able to bring the bike in as it was too far out, so they sent someone round on the same day to collect it instead. When the guy arrived I explained the issue and he was able to tell me that it just needed to be reconnected (luckily I discovered a small clip that fell onto the floor which was needed to keep the hose in place). He then reconnected the fuel line to the engine and it was all working fine, so they ended up not having to take it in. Great service and the guys were really friendly! Highly recommended!

My bike's engine had broken and i thought all was looking very bleak. Abbey Motorcycles came and picked the bike up the same day, ordered all the parts, completely rebuilt the engine and brought the bike back to life! These guys are awesome! I needed to get my lumpy, dangerous brakes and discs sorted TODAY (how unreasonable) as I was heading off to Portugal the next day. They had all the parts right at hand, dedicated their time to the project (including fixing all the snags which always happen on an old bike). They gave me a great discount price, didn't even charge me for some parts, stayed after closing time to get it finished and even made me coffee! The first time I grabbed the front brake I caught myself laughing out loud as it was smooth as butter balls. Can't thank these fellas enough - they're making dreams come true. Portugal here we come!

I had a set of tyres fitted as a rush job, honestly meaning to continue my servicing and maintenance with the dealership for any future works. Fast forward a month and my KTM Duke's Engine seized after 10k miles, zero support from the dealership so I called Abbey, and the guys could not have been more helpful, from collecting it, diagnosing the fault (Dealership screwed the valve clearances and the piston ate a valve), attempting to take it back to the dealers for me, bringing it back after the dealership denied any knowledge of it, even so far as storing it until i got the funds to buy a new engine and now fitting the new engine too. I originally only came to get some tyres fitted as a rush after moving to Leicester and now they have a customer for life.
