Popped in over Easter weekend to grab some boots ready for my mod 1 test. Very new to bikes so wasn’t sure what I wanted. Spoke to Sam there who was absolutely brilliant. Was very patient with me and very knowledgeable taking me through different types of boots etc Mange to pick a pair in the end then went through helmets, again he was very professional and knew his stuff! In the end. I walked out very happy with a pair of boots and a helmet. I will definitely be back thanks to sam and the team.

Always go in for all my bike needs! All the staff are very knowledgeable on all aspects of clothing and various accessories. And even when it’s busy, will find time to come and chat with you about whatever you’re looking for. They won’t try and push expensive kit onto you, if there is something that will fit your needs better. Great kit and competitive prices. Only wish it was a bigger shop ):

There are rules put in place for a reason. These hard working guys are only doing what bosses like me ask them too. These guys are top of there game when it comes to knowing about there items they sell. I myself own a motorcycle business in Leicester and go an buy from this store if I need to. They have good stock and the knowledge to go with the stock they sell. Don’t give them a hard time for following directives from above. Just remember it’s your and your families safety as well as the staffs safety.

Solid and reliable. J&S' store in Leicester is large enough to allow you to just browse a bit if that's what you want, but equally, if you need a bit of advise, the friendly team of staff are always happy to advise without being pushy. I like the fact that the team is consistent and are clearly all bike enthusiasts themselves, so genuinely know what they're talking about. Only criticism perhaps, is the range of brands. There's a significant bias towards J&S' own brands like BKS and Frank Thomas to the detriment sometimes of other brands I would like to see.

J&S Leicester are proving to be the best place in the Midlands for anything bike related. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Always offer to make a brew and give you all the technical advise you need. If they don't have the items you need they will get it in as soon as they can. Not always the cheapest but sometimes you have to pay a little more for service. After all it's not all about the price, it's about the product and the assistance. The only downside which can't really be a negative is that the shop is packed ! Gary and his team are second to none, it's great to see a shop that run by proper enthusiasts.

Excellent customer service - will honestly help you out for your budget. Its my go-to local store. The only downside is their refund policy is to give vouchers instead of refunds if you change your mind about a product. I can understand this might have been abused in the past as online retailers tend to be cheaper on some things.

Good motorcycle accessory shop, reasonable range and fair customer service. Would only allow two people in a group to enter the store and there were three of us so one had to stay outside. Apparantly head office directive but daft when at the time there were no other customers. Manager ought to exercise discretion and not be so belligerent when they need sales. Big contrast to a fantastic experience at Mototechniks Stowmarket, top bunch of enthusiasts there.

Great store the staff and always happy to help and know a lot about their products (of which they have have a large selection). I purchased a Drift Stealth 2 Camera from then almost a year ago and for some reason it stopped working Gary Briers (store manager) asked me to pop it in and they would send it off for me to get it looked at and just over a week he sent me a message saying they were not sure what the fault was and they had sent me a brand new camera as a replacement. Cant fault the customer service there at all had a new box and attachments for my helmet and everything. The store has a nice carpark so you can easily parkup your bike or car and the staff are always ready to offer you a cuppa while you have a chat/look round the store. Well worth a visit and if they dont have your product instock (like my size 11.5 boots i brought a while back they search their other stores and I think it only took a day or 2 to get them shipped over to them for me to collect :) Keep up the good work guys.

Would only recommend if you know exactly what you want, and you want it that same day rather than waiting for an online order.

I recently visited the Leicester branch for some new waterproof trousers as my old one more leak I went with the idea of spending about £100,but ended up spending much more I parted with £220 for some dainese gor tex trousers (these are awesome) , and the next day went back for the matching jacket and gloves and today (a week later) went back again for some alpine star boots I've now spent almost £900 which as you can see it's a little more than my original £100 plan. Some would say I've been had with sale talk others will say I'm just a shop o holic, but let me explain. I went to Devon last week in what I can only describe as a monsoon. And after a 200 mile 4 hour ride I got off the bike warm, dry, comfortable and even found myself laughing in the rain as its the first time in years I've felt so good about riding in the cold and wet. The only thing that let me down was my old leather booth that havehave the 30 minutes into the trip so my feet were numb. Which is why I went back today to take them up on their advice and brought the boots I should have brought before I left for Devon. Sam and the guys there are all mad bikers so they use the gear they sell so can give honest advice. I note investable why they wanted me to spend just that little bit more than I'd planned as believe me it's worth every penny. This new gear wasn't an expense, it's an investment. My old gear I replaced yearly as it gave up, that was £300+ every year forfor and lost 5 years I've now spent just under £900 and it works, it's safer and it will last me about 10 years Please please taketake it guys advice they know their stuff, I just wish I had listened to them last year when i chose to buy cheep gear from elsewhere. Big thank youyou for all the guys at Leicester you saved my health, saved me getting wet, saved me getting cold, and its easy more comfortable than any gear I've had before So, don't just read this gogo and there and have a chat have a look and don't buy bine gear, invest in your safety and comfort! Id give 10 stars if I could . Oh price are pretty good too.. If your boss is reading this these guys need a pay rise.... Lol.... (just is worth a try) Thanks guys... Garry from leicester .
