I have been a customer of Central Bikes in Charlotte Street for about 10 years now and just collected what is now my third bike through them today. As ever Guy, Tom, Vito and the rest of the team are super helpful, patient, friendly - everything you would wish for from a bike shop. They always make me feel confident with my purchases and the after sales service is also excellent. Whether you are a seasoned rider or just looking to get started, I cannot recommend Central Bikes enough.

Highly recommended. I used Central Bikes to help me with a move from my small moped onto a larger bike. They couldn't have been better. I have bought two bikes now from Central Bikes on Charlotte Street and they are absolutely fantastic. The shop is central so it meant I didn't have a long ride home - very reassuring when driving home your first bike. Each time I am there I receive the best customer service, especially from the magnifique Norbert! He helped me with all the paper work as I find this difficult to understand. Norbert made it so easy - I just went in, filled in the forms (which he talked me through slowly), bought the bike and drove away without any hassle at all - thank you Norbert! Everyone who works there knows their trade inside out and genuinely wants to help find the best bike and deal for you. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough - if I could give 10 stars I would!

Had my Vespa from CB 4 years ago, 20,000km later just had a major service completed. Throughout my ownership the team have been utterly professional, transparent on costs and pricing of parts and servicing and very responsive. I have never had any issue and the whole team are great to deal with. I would add that you will almost always get your bike back the same day if you drop off in the morning, which is a bonus. I would not trust my bike with any other dealer and will be sure to buy my next bike from the guys. Great service.

Fast, efficient and friendly service from the guys working in here. They have a great selection of bikes, they're knowledgeable and friendly for novices or experience riders and can work out a great deal. Highly recommended. Further edit; 2 weeks after buying the scooter thieves tried to steal it - they didn't manage to get the bike but did some damage to the steering column, the key barrel and front wheel. Unfortunately Central Bikes have let the only guy who can drive their pickup van go on vacation without arranging any cover, so although they could help fix the bike I'd have to get it there by myself, but the damage is too great so it won't ride. Not good service at all, so have reduced my previous 5 stars to 3. Good at point of sale, but let themselves down when I needed help.

I purchased my first ever scooter, a Piaggio Liberty from Central Bikes and couldn’t be happier. Initially, I had visited a motorcycle store in Clapham, and was a little nervous. The guys who worked there, at first, could not be bothered to talk to me and did so (it felt) begrudgingly - at one stage even rolling their eyes, (until they realised I was serious about purchasing). As a result, I was apprehensive about going to another store...Upon entering Central Bikes, I was made to feel welcome straight away, what a difference that makes. Norbert was friendly and made me feel right at ease. No question was too silly and believe me I had a few. I out down a deposit on a bike then and there. Yesterday, upon collecting the bike, Guy took the time and talked me through everything, how the bike worked and reminded me to go slow in the rain (it was raining at the time!) He said if I had any issues or further questions, to just give them a call. Customer service goes a long way, sadly I think many businesses are losing sight of this, but not Central Bikes. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful team. All of them. After having had a bad experience with another scooter dealer I took my Vespa to be serviced to them and both Michele and Vito (the bike mechanics) did a good job at a reasonable price. Some time later I bought a Piaggio Meddley from them (love it.) and Guy gave me a good deal and a super swift delivery. Guy had proven to be very reasonable even in a previous instance issuing a refund no questions asked on a item I had bought from them. They may be not the cheapeast ones but it's central London.. they know what to do and always deliver a good service. I'll be happily keep on going to them and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to be messed around. With them you can be sure you get what you pay for.

Customer service is fantastic. An owner of my Vespa for 18 months, I returned with a puncture. Lily noticed a number of other issues and contacted Piaggio and received new parts under warranty. I recently bought a Piaggio MP3 500 from Norbert at Centralbikes. He was patient and very helpful. I had originally gone in to another motorbike shop in Vauxhall and had a terrible experience where they were rude and didn't care. My experience here was the complete opposite. Being new to 'biking' I had lots of questions about what I needed in terms of equipment and Norbert was more than happy to accommodate. My only constructive criticism was that they could have a bigger selection of clothing but considering the size of the shop they are pretty well stocked. I feel welcome to go back and I'm pleased I bought from them. I also love the bike/trike!

It's been an absolute pleasure dealing with Central Bikes ! I phoned the shop looking to purchase a new Gilera Runner in Black. They didn't have that colour in stock and advised me it would be a few weeks if they ordered the black one, they had a White Soul one ready to go but I really wanted the Black Soul version. A Very nice dealership, help and advice given in all aspects. As a first time rider purchasing the new Piaggio MP3 500 ABS i asked a lot of questions in store and via email. Guy and his side kick Norbet who helped advise on what i should get and what i should not get (even if they had a financial gain) was very helpful. Very Satisfied, even though Guy promised to give me the 10% off all the riding gear i purchased, which was a lot, but maybe i was too excited on the day collecting and making the final payments. I have a Yamaha 600 Diversion and live near the shop. Although they sell scooters, they service other brands. They did an MOT, and a light service and replaced a worn front tire. What a pleasure it has been to deal with Norbert at CBL! He is a great salesman: knowledgeable, thoughtful, helpful, efficient, friendly, not pushy and not sleazy. He helped me navigate through the ranges of scooters and what would best fit my needs, helped me navigate the extremely bureaucratic British system for getting a license (at least as a foreigner), set me up with the right accessories (helmets, gloves, leg cover, rain jacket...) and always welcomed me with a smile. Brilliant place! Tiny tiny store in the middle of Central London. As I am new to all these biking staff, I got lost few times trying to find the place, at the end just called them up asking to direct me, as I was near by. Someone just came to pick me up from the parking i was on. I called up also beforehand, asking about one type of chain, but I was recommended to get another one, as it was thicker and better price (as on offer). Such lovely people working there, they are not trying to sell whatever to you, but genuinely trying to help and find what is best for the customer. Definitely will return for my bike staff to them.

I just picked up my third bike from Guy over at Central Bikes. Although I bought my first Vespa at Metrolpolis I will never make that mistake again. I have since bought a Vespa 125, then traded it into a Vespa GTS 300 (which unfortunately was stolen). Guy then gave me a great deal on Piaggio MP3 500 which I just took delivery. I have also had my former bike serviced after an accident and they did a terrific job. Central Bikes care about customer loyalty, which they build through service and trust. I’ve never posted before, but this company deserves it.

Dont listen to one star reviews! Usually scammers and mention other dealerships as they have something to do with them so trying to promote their business!!!!!! Recently brought a vespa here. Absolute bargain, cheaper than any of the same model and mileage and year that I could find online! Also got free fuel, free oil, free new wing mirror, free exhaust respray and free helmet worth £90. Norbert spent a lot of time with us showing us around and helping us make our decision and after I brought it, showed me all parts of it and how it works. Also helped me buy my tax for it and told me everything I needed to know. One of the best shops I've ever been too! Definitely go there if you need a moped! Staff are soooooo friendly!

Recently i was looking for a new bike and come across to an advert with 0% APR on all new piaggio scooters. I called them, went there to speak to them. They are very helpful and the whole process was so easy. Nothing to worry about. Guy and Tyron will look after you. Only recently they have moved to their new place on 68 Charlotte street, much prettier and more organised place. You feel like going for a break there too. Dan, Guy and the team always make an effort to provide a great service, purchased an MP3 500 from them they promised congestion charge wouldn't be a problem but suggested autopay as would probably get pinged once or twice a month, so do autopay to be safe. popped in today to see if they had a mirror for my Vespa. Seemed kind of a small shop and it is, however their warehouse is somewhere conveniently placed so that whenever you order a part they deliver it quickly for you to pick it up. In my case it took about an hour. I dont complain as i originally thought I would buy it on ebay which would have taken so much longer. So anyways the part arrived quickly and the gentleman at the counter was kind enough to even fit my mirror on. Not small thing considering he had to take the windshield off. I personally dont have tools so would have been stuffed. 5 stars for service!

been using the place for several years, and they are pleasent and knowlegable. the pre-MOT chek means that you donlt jsut fail, but they're always willing to discuss if something could wait a while, etc. yes the labour cost is higher than if you go outsidr London, but that's understandable, and it means i can ride to work, have them do what needs to happend and pick up before i go home.
