I've been with M&G garages for just about 10 years now, they are a family run garage that offer great work on bikes from <50cc-1000cc+ capacity at fair prices and more importantly honesty. Story time: Now, I've been a regular customer at M&G's from my 50cc chinese bike to my yamaha aerox, yzf r125 and now fazer 600. On my r125 (pictured) a few years ago the front brake was skipping on me slightly. I took it to a more well known garage that had loads of reviews and was in a prime location (within a 5 mile radius from M&G's current location), at first the guy that worked there didn't see a problem with it after riding it and said "is the brake too sharp for you to handle?" maybe in a light hearted jab, but a jab nonetheless. I urged him to try again and maybe twist the wrist a bit more and then brake, he concluded that I had a warped front disc after the second go and said i need: front disc brake, pads AND caliper set + labour. I took it straight to M&G's and asked Gileno what was wrong with it, without telling him I had already gotten it seen to, without jumping on the bike he said "sounds like warped disc brake", after he had a spin he confirmed the disc was warped and instructed me to take it easy, order a new disc drake and pads (sintered ebc or something he recommended). That was in the early 2010's and since then Gileno, his brother and the other mechanics have all done wonders for my bikes. As a regular customer they've: tightened & lubed my chain, if they're not busy just give my bike a once over, been the source of great connections like bike key smiths and bike recovery, given me great advice and performed surgery on my fairings! These guys are kind and passionate about bikes and in all seriousness Brazilian mechanical magicians. Thanks again guys and I'll see you soon :D

I just came across Gileno through lots of online searching, I wanted to find a nice trustworthy guy who could carry out some extensive work on my bike. I have a Harley 883 Iron which had a leak and needed the Yoke replacing. Gileno was very honest and told me he was able to carry out the work, provided i got the original parts. He was very honest reasonable with his time/cost. Gileno will be my new go to guy. Pleased I found him

I've been with this garage for a year now. It was recommend by a friend that told me they worked very good. Since day 1, I've had blind trust in Gileno and his staff. He is ALWAYS super honest of what has to be done, there's NEVER a "oh yes this other thing was broken, that'll be £1000" NEVER had I had a problem with that, and I've had motorbikes in 3 different countries and I can guarantee you, that to have a garage where you can trust the people without hesitating twice, is priceless. I have a 2005 Triumph Bonneville and it has been taken care like a beauty. Let me add one final thing, there has been times where there was a little thing to be done, like a quick adjustment, or something very easy to repair, that doesn't take too long obviously, Gileno has never charged me, that's the kind of guy he is. I feel loyal to him because I know I can trust him. So come to this garage if you want your money's worth, professional advice, professional work and of course, a clear peace of mind.

give it more starts if I could. He found and repaired the problem I had for months in like a hour and a half. Very honest man. Tell you straight away what you need or don't need to change or fix. Burwin motorcycles failed to fix the problem twice . After getting fed up with them a friend recommended m&g and I swear to god going there was the best decision. If recommend to anyone and everyone who has a bike or moped. I was driving around with a broken pully that was ripping away at my belt for quite a while. Yet other garage told me nothing was wrong with my belt or pully. Don't go anywhere else.

Gileno is a motorcycle wizard. He's both super friendly and super passionate about motorcycles. Recently took a switch on my XRV750 Africa Twin down to literally its smallest components, fixing the problem and saving me from having to replace the entire unit. Other garages can be very opaque about work needed and pricing, but M&G Garage always puts my mind at ease that any issue can be solved and that I will be charged fairly for the work! Would recommend to anyone, whether scooter commuter or museum piece hoarder.
