I would not use anyone but Beven to work on my bikes . John and his team provide a great service, they are highly professional and are reasonably priced and they care about what they do. Why go anywhere else? It nice to be loyal to nice people.

Awesome. Had my old R1 MOT'd and ULEZ tested, which it failed. Had a CAT installed there and then within the hour, retested and passed all for 450 quid. Not a small amount of money but very fairly priced given the significant efforts and speculative investment they've made to be able to offer this service. Much cheaper than a new bike and I don't have to sell the bike I want to keep riding. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Will be going here again 👍

Neil from Riverbank Motorcycles found me broken down on the side of the road and fixed my bike free of charge! Bike was struggling to turn over with a slight fuel line leak and had been left standing for months. Was about to call recovery service when Neil popped up and rescued me. Gave me new spark plug and shored up the fuel line free of charge. I returned the next day and replacement fuel line only cost a tenner! Great service, friendly staff and good samaritans! Throughly recommend.

John at this garage saved the day for me, they were willing to pick up and test my bike on the same day although being heavily booked. I was getting chased up by a bike rental company after an accident and having just been released from hospital not long before. Being in no state to be walking around (leg in a splint, stitches on knee), I wanted a 2nd opinion before the bike was taken back so at least I would know whether it was down to a lack of skill or mechanical failure. The test was conducted fairly and very efficiently, I was only charged a minimal fee for the test and for the pickup of the vehicle, which I really appreciate since I was unable to work due to injury. Went here to get my ULEZ test on my 2002 Honda to allow me to ride into London. Unfortunately first test had a reading of 0.3 (limit is 0.15). They explained what they could do to get my bike compliant and within the hour, the work was completed, the bike was retested and it passed. I needed to fit a cat but cost of the work seemed reasonable given it saved the hassle of needing to change the bike. Everyone I spoke to were super friendly and informative. I had heard that many pre 2006 motorcycles were actually ULEZ compliant and, if not, most could be made compliant by this garage. To be honest I was a bit sceptical and didn’t want to pay out £175 just to find out it was not compliant or they were some back street scam artists. So I rode there on my 26 year old Harley (though a relatively new carburettor) to check them out. Neil explained what work/adjustment was likely to be required and why (a fixed price of £75 for the works plus £175 for the test) and, as there was a cancellation, I left them to it. It’s not a small price, but my bike is running smoother and is now officially ULEZ compliant so well worth the expense. Great job guys, thank you.

My boyfriend has a suzuki bandit 600 , 97reg with 95,000miles on the clock, he has owned this bike for over 20yrs and was fretting that he would have to get rid of it because it did not qualify for ulez. The extension would mean he would have to pay to travel to work or spend thousands on a new bike. Fortuantly he discovered Riverside Motorbikes they are the only bikes ulez test center in london. They were very good and helpful and got his old faithful passed through the test by installing a cat in the link pipe(not a moggy) thanks to them he can now ride his bike to work and saved himself thousands of pounds. A definate recommendation for anyone riding oldies to work. Thumbs up!

These guys are competent and really keen to provide a good service. Prices are good, workshop is tidy. I've been here twice now, and both times have been a good experience. Today they fixed an electrical problem on my bike they they'd estimated might be about 30-60 mins work; it turned out to be simpler than expected so they charged me £10; they could have charged me more and I'd have been none the wiser, but they didn't. I have been using City Bike Service for many years and they have looked after the three bikes I have had in that time exclusively and excellently. They are quick, sensibly priced, keen to help and if will attend to largest and smallest of jobs. They will mend things if they can, use second hand where possible and sensible, and I can recommend them for all your bike needs. They are also, once you have found them (!), really conveniently placed.

I have a Honda Dylan scooter and I have been to City Bike Service for 2 services and 1 repair. Each time it has been excellent!!! Customer service has always been friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable too. They even washed my bike clean too!! They open 8am till 7pm, so drop it off before work and pick it up after, could not be more simpler. Highly recommended!!

Called yesterday afternoon. They asked me to bring in this morning. Was up on the ramp for a service within 10 mins of arrival and Service was finished within an hour. I have a Chinese Scooter, with most of the major Service Centers around London refusing to look at it, but these wonderful people dealt with it like Pros, and had me riding away with a smile on my face and a scooter that felt so much better in the road. Best motorbike garage in London. I made a vow to myself that City Motorbike service is the only garage I take my motorbike to and ride out with confidence as I leave my motorbike in good hands. I have serviced my motorbike countless times since I ride and never left disappointed. The people at City Bikes do a great job, my BWW came back from service and MOT riding like a dream, it's not the cheapest around but it is worth the extra. We did have some communication issues but to be fair that was as much my fault as anyone elses but once we sorted ourselves out things were spot on. My TDM broke down at the petrol station next door and refused to start. Id had this issue before and knew it was a relay that needed cleaning. Rented a Yamaha YBR 125cc to get a bit of practice in for a week before my DA module 1. Had searched high and low for a place that rented bikes to the point where I was looking at places quite a bit of a drive outside of London - stumbled across this place and was surprised at their prices and location. The staff were very friendly, offered me a choice of new bikes they had in (I went for the YBR anyway as I'd done my CBT on one), filled in a bit of cursory paperwork and was away. Whenever I was at their garage there seemed to be a constant flow of repeat customers, which is always a good sign, and I have to say that for a place as reputable as they seemed, I am surprised it took so long to find them on google. Handing the bike back wasn't a problem (except I had accidentally taken a customer's helmet instead of one of their stock ones. Apparently they are changing their helmet storage system because of me - whoops). Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to hire a motorcycle in London. Will definitely be using them again in the New Year as if I am honest I was very impressed (to the point where I have written my first ever online review)

I got a Vespa GT which let me down last week and this was the only open bike shop after 6pm on a thursday. Infact, they are open 6 days a week and on week days till 7pm... These are really hard working and honest guys who accepted to repair my bike the same day and I was so impressed I also asked for a 15K service. Unlike most scooter garages, they opened the engine infront of me and showed me every single failing part and got my confirmation before they changed anything; so no dodgy extra costs... I'll never take my scooter to any other place again. I actually thought a lot before writing this review coz I dont want this shop to get too busy and spoiled with customers... Went in for an MOT. Got the job done but despite specifically telling them not to do any extra work without calling me first they went ahead an did lots of extra work without my knowledge and charged me for it afterwards. Some of this stuff was deffinitely not necessary for an MOT e.g. replacing spare fuses - I keep a box of spare fuses anyway so didnt need these. Obviously get through a lot of customers so dont expect great customer service either.

I rented a Yamaha YBR 125 for the day. It ran well. Price was fine. Not the latest model but I knew that. It was all very low hassle. They were nice, even when I returned the bike after hours. Easy to get lost without a working GPS it appears. Remember your paper work though.

Excellent experience with this company and I highly recommend them. Communications from initial enquiry to end of trip were outstanding. I texted or emailed and got a reply same day. Prices were very reasonable and even though bikes were older models we had no mechanical problems. All three bikes went down at least once during U-turns and levers were broken and one muffler detached yet charges for damages were way less than I expected. John, the owner, is a very personable guy and you tell from talking to him that he is not into ripping you off. He gladly stored our suitcases and provided bungee cords. His location at present is convenient and only a short taxi ride from a subway station. I have no reservations at all in recommending this business.

Went in to get my front brake pads and steering head bearing sorted. Another garage had quoted me £300-350 including parts, claiming that the bearing needed to be replaced. Riverbank took a look and told me the bearing might only need to be adjusted - as it turned out, they were right. They did the work needed along with an MOT and the final cost did not come anywhere near the other garage's quote. This is a reliable, no-nonsense workshop, and I will definitely return in the future.

These guys really know their stuff! Took my 01- Fatboys there for an emissions test to be ULEZ exempted, first time round it failed the test by a mile and a half. Straight after they suggested a tune up and remapped my fuel injection. 2 hours after failing my first test the thing Qualifies for ULEZ exemption, if you have an older bike that you’re really attached to it’s 100% taking it over to these guys. I now no longer have to worry about the future zone expansion which I live in. Worth. Every. Penny.

Passed the Emissions Test on my 1998 VFR800 (78,700miles) and can apply for ULEZ emissions charge based on the successful test. Only TFL approved facility in London for ULEZ exemption Emissions testing. Very helpful staff and stock several inline Catalytic Converters for various Bikes. TFL updated my Motorcycles status two days later, now ULEZ compliant on their Website and TFL 'Drive' App. Happy Days.
