Ian is more than just a motorcycle repair expert!
I'd been struggling riding my previous bike for some considerable time due to getting older and aches and pains but was scared that if I got rid of the bike I would never get another.
After another long lay off of riding Ian collected my old bike and gave me a long talking to. He then had a serious conversation with the other half and somehow convinced her of the benefits of a new bike.
He then took my old bike and rather than just do jobs for taking money off me he did the minimum to get the bike through MOT. This then allowed me to part exchange it.
3 months in I have my got my joy of riding again and am racking up the miles on my new bike.
Thank you Ian!

Recently bought at Suzuki Bandit 600 after a 5 year break from biking. Looked for someone to service the bike before I rode it any great distance. Found Mr Pigs on a Google search.
From the moment I made contact it was obvious that they knew what they were doing, were really honest about work and costings and went over and above with the care of my bike.
Full service completed, back tyre replaced, brakes cleaned and adjusted and carburettor cleaned and adjusted.
It honestly feels like a new bike again. It sounds smoother on tick over, pulls through the gears and stops on a sixpence. I feel so much more confident when riding again.
Ian and I had a great chat about putting the world to rights and my teaching career when I dropped the bike off. It's nice to know that there are some decent people in the biking community in Manchester.
I now wouldn't go anywhere else for my bike servicing/Mot's and I've just booked back in to swap a front wheel that had a slight flat spot (spotted by Mr Pigs during the service).
Thank you Mr Pigs for a great experience.

Very happy with the work I had done on my bike today. New downpipes. It was hard to get a booking in the first place, but that's surely the sign of a good garage. Staff friendly, down to earth and straight forward. Not only has the work been done perfectly, in just 2 hours, but my bike was obviously also given a good once over because my front tyre has had air put in it because it was low which I didn't even know. Where else do you get that quality service? Very impressed.

Took my bike to Mr Pigs for a once over, I was then given the diagnostics and told what needed to be done. So I booked my bike in to have the work done. Once I received my bike back I realised there was a slight problem with the rev counter running high, so I called Ian and he was very helpful and told me to bring the bike back. Ian then fixed the problem and now the bike runs really well. I highly recommend Ian he has a great knowledge of motorcycles.

Cannot praise Ian enough. Excellent service, always goes above and beyond and has a cracking sense of humour to boot! Full of great advice, have had new tyres, new chain / sprockets and two services / MOTs with him now and wouldn't trust anybody else with the bike.

Used Mr Pigs a few times now and they have done a superb job both times. I have an old tiger, it's not an easy bike to work on but they crack on with it and they have transformed the bike, it rides so well! Mike usually works on my bike. Really nice guy and takes time to explain what's been done and how to go moving forward. The vibe is very 'shed build' which I prefer, dirty, fantastic experience.
The guys treat all bike repairs at a very high level, they don't want to do an average job so certainly they are not the cheapest but you get value for money because you get such a higher standard repair.
Well done and thanks guys!

i cant praise Ian and Mike at Mr.Pigs enough. Over the last years they have cared for and looked after my bike (VFR750) as though it was their own. Their attention to deal and to ensure the bike is in top running order is unsurpassed. Its always a pleasure to deal with them and enjoy some banter as well as excellent service. I would not take my bike anywhere else. The prices are competitive but above all honest. I'd highly recommend Mr. Pigs to all bikers who want the very best service and attention to detail.

Excellent service, good banter and an all round great biking experience.
Was very happy with the price; I was charged exactly what was explained without stupid little extras and hours being added.
The guys picked up on a major fault another local franchised dealer missed, possibly saving my life. They explained and guided me through what needed done and what they were going to do. All without fuss or bulls**t.
Great to have finally found my 'go to' bike garage in Manchester.
I would wholeheartedly recommend.

As a newish rider with no knowledge of bikes whatsoever and not being satisfied with work I had done someplace else, I got Mr Pig’s details off the net. I am very grateful for the service I was given start to finish, from my first call to riding away. Pigsy(the owner) was straight talking from the get go, helpful and also imparting some great advice. My bike which went in after a spill and although parts are obsolete now, it was fixed up and now runs and feels better than it has in the 16months I’ve had it. A top crew and brilliant service makes this place my go to from now on. Mr. T

Ian is a straightforward honest, and some times blunt guy who says things as they are. He was most helpful when my GS500 Suzuki broke down with fuel problems caused by a rusty tank. Suggested options and I eventually got a 2nd hand tank fitted by Mr Pigs together with a total cleaning of the carbs. Bike now running better than it has for years. Will now use nobody else, as my previous mechanic charged me £180 to just get the bike going again, and it broke down after 75 miles. He refused to help in any way and will no longer get my business.
Thank you Mr Pigs for your help and a reasonable bill to boot
