Bought a good few things from Ghost Bikes, I find some of the prices a little more expensive than can be found online, however there are plenty of people on hand to give you advice and assistance. Being able to browse products and try them on always wins over buying online and having to send something back. Have to add an addendum to this review after another visit at the weekend, the service was exceptional, staff very friendly and helpful, and the owner went out of his way to make sure I got what I wanted and at a great price, five stars and worth every one of them.

I've only ever had good experiences here and online over the years with £1000s spent on helmets, riding gear, garage equip, locks, funky braces for some kevlar jeans, kevlar jeans... "Ibs" (like nibs -n) is always happy to do deals or has some great excuses why not. Very big range of riding gear, leather and tex, I really like the glove display and layout. Infact all the layouts are open, clear, tidy and in order. The lad in the lid section knows his way round, has great stock knowledge, and spent time making sure this was a good fit (and put the pinlock on). They carry a lot of stock so design and size has always been in for what I've wanted. Decent cafe, good hotchocolate that they will make Hot hot 🔥 if you ask. Always bike racing on massive projector TV, volume on, so if you have to miss the GP, you don't. Wet kit drying lockers so you can atleast sodden off if not totally dry out. Clean toilets. Regular bike events, find raisers and nights run from here, plenty of details inside. Huge barrier protected BIKE ONLY parking right out side, plenty of car spaces too if you have to do it the hard way. Will I come here again? Of course I will; I'll find an excuse to go to Preston, even if they are the excuse, or use online if I can't. They do Send On if you can't carry it on your back, and online/instore exchanges no bother, not fk about "but you bought it online..😫". Good team, stock, service, prices.. make it look easy. Well done.

Love this place. I struggle with severe anxieties, however, when I visit the store I always feel comfortable. I am able to explore the store without being hounded by sales staff and when I am ready, they provide an amazing level of service. The majority of my shopping is done online or I am straight in and out of a shop. This is one of only a handful of stores I actually browse around.

So not often am I overly impressed with anything, especially service in shops. Came to the shop because I had a manufacturing problem with two pairs of Knox gloves. As soon I walked in was welcomed and told where I can put my helmet while I shop. The gloves issues was delt with straight away and was effortless. Wanted to look for a one piece leathers and was having trouble with the sizes. Reluctantly asked for help(see first sentence.) Very glad I did, Ebrahim was well on it! Was like he heard my question and thought "time to shine!" Guided me through how it should fit and feel in certain places, installed my extra optional protectors for me and answered questions on how to take care of the suit. Then did some Grand Master origami on my old two piece and it was somehow all in my backpack??? After I just about got the jacket in. I 100% would have left after being confused with the euro sizes and bought my usual Large online, which wouldn't have fit me, if it wasn't for the service today. Shop wise it's huge!!! And has everything. Seems to stock more premium kit than just anything to fill the shelves. Be back in January to collect my gloves and spend some more money.

Great store. They offered me plenty of solid and honest advice of fitting for a new helmet. They didn't try any nasty up selling rubbish and they offered to post my old lid home for me free of charge since I wasn't comfortable ridding 40+ motorway miles with it hanging of the back of my bike.

I purchased A Black Titan full face helmet for my daughter as needed an economically priced spare helmet for the odd times she travels on the bike . Really impressed with the quality of this for a cost of only just over £30 , the RRP of over £80 is most probably accurate as it is really good quality with a removable lining and additional anti mist visor included/ opening air vent / storage bag . Arrived within 2 days , extremely happy, with this purchase , well done Ghost Bikes will be buying from you again !

This is a great cafe. Reasonable prices but great food. Brilliant atmosphere, giving the impression of being busy and exciting without feeling crowded. The decor is really well done and you can sit at a table, a bar height table or a bar to suit however you feel. Good music and a huge tv. What more can you ask. You can even shop as you go. Open late Tuesday evenings. Well worth a visit on a run out.

Just bought my first bike so popped in today to buy everything. Got served by a great guy called David who was extremely helpful and patient. He showed me stacks of different gear, he showed me all types and costs and didn't steer me towards high brands, he explained it all and let me go for what I wanted and gave advice on that item before I bought. He even sorted me a discount but bear in mind this is only because I bought literally everything and it was based on the items I bought. He gave me his full attention and I left feeling happy that I'd bought the right things. Great place and great service.

Lovely store well stocked, very helpful staff and knowledgeable obviously bikers themselves, which I love I have going to a game shop and speaking to someone who doesn't game or a t Ch shop and someone coming over saying do you heed help and I ask what's the difference between the nest and the home products and the staff have to go find out( I know the difference but it gets rid of them) but I'm a bargain shopper as I could afford to ride unless I got cheap/sale stock and usually this stuff is around RRP. So I'll have to stick to inline promos.

Ordered a UK 12. They sent me a UK 11 because their sizing chart does not match Richa's. Ordered a UK 12 again but made sure they got it right this time. Came and they were still too small. Original delivery took a week (took them 3 working days to send it). Each return takes a week. 3 weeks and a lot of faff to get a pair of boots. Could have been a lot less hassle if the bizarre sizing they are using on their website wasn't a whole two sizes out and their delivery wasn't done at a snail's pace. Was attracted by the good price, but the hassle of the experience made it not worth it in the end.

Top shop, top staff, top service, top food. I went to get my 9 year old a full set up that I'd seen on line but wanted him to try on. Turns out they jacket was out of stock but was shown a better one that had just been cut to half price. The pants are awesome and walked away with some gloves too, all but the pants I'd seen on line wouldn't have fit. The service was excellent, I'm sorry I didn't get his name because he would have had a mention on here. We also got a helmet that was perfect for him. We were given a free drink just for buying something and the smell from the kitchen was too much so we got 2 full English breakfasts. The sausages were ace. Overall very impressed with Ghostbikes. A strange review but based on a rare and slightly exceptional experience. I visited Ghostbikes specifically to try on some helmets and thought the the 40 min car drive was worth it. I arrived with two young children who turned off their ears and insisted on making it as difficult as possible for me to try things on when a Ghostbikes person (later I found out the owner) went out of his way to distract my two kids, he gave them stickers and pens and sat them down to distract them just so I could have a minute of peace. Then, it turned out I couldn't get a lid to fit so I bought other stuff just a a small Thank You for being so kind. The customer service person who helped me with helmets was also brilliant, no hard sell to make the wrong choice. I'll be using again and again based on this. Chicken sausage butty also brilliant with polite friendly staff in the cafe. Thanks for all your kindness. Shop worth a visit if not for the HUUUUGE screen in the cafe alone.

Nice place to go with plenty of bike clothing and helmets to choose from. Starting at the cheaper entry level stuff up to the much more expensive rider gear there's something right for your budget. Very nice and helpful staff who seem to be very knowledgeable polite and friendly. Lots of free parking spaces available so that shouldn't ever be a problem. Definitely worth a visit !

There own range of Black or Agrius products are at excellent prices and while it's not the best it's definitely value for money. Some products are actually better than some of the better known brands all of which can be found at ghost bikes. The shop is ever growing and changing with lots of new products daily. I bought a helmet for my daughter and there was an issue with it a few months later. I called and was advised to buy a replacement and I sent the original one back for them to 'look at'. If there was a manufacturing fault I would be due a refund. I had no faith in getting a refund as it would be my word against theirs and not being a helmet expert' I didn't know what was wrong with it. (visor issue) However imagine my surprise when I was offered a FULL REFUND - faith restored in humanity and trust instilled in this company who I will buy from again. Ghost bikes building and cafe area was clean tidy and had plenty of alcohol gelt o cleanse hands before and after entering. The bike parking area is well thought out and I felt safe to leave my bike there whilst I wandered around. What I would say is that I felt intimidated by the staff there who seemed to think I was eager to buy or eager to steel as there eyes were on me. If this ever happens to me, I wont buy anything in any shop where I dont feel comfortable. If your shop staff are reading this perhaps have a word about intimidation skills. Cheers

Bought a jacket from these guys over a week ago. I wore the jacket to commute to work and the first sight of rain the red collar leached dye all over my work clothes and dyed my neck bright red. I took the jacket back (within 30 days) to get it replaced only to have the jacket sent off to the manufacturer ? I would assume that Ghost Bikes would swap the jacket on the spot and deal with this themselves as I was sold a faulty product. Not best pleased as now I am stuck with no jacket and possibly have to wait 3 weeks for a verdict on the jacket. staff said they had never seen this happen before, however a quick look on google has produced a number of reviews were people have experienced the same thing. Beware of Oxford Montreal 3.0 jacket ! Staff are helpful however and stock is there for you to try on as I do like to be able to touch the product. It's a shame on this occasion that I have had to deal with returning an item. Just my luck

Went in the store last week to find a new lid for me and my wife (by the way, great selection!) Was met with a cheery greeting by a man named Dave. I was only looking for a reasonably priced helmet for both of us, but he was very helpful in the different varieties and benefits for each, as my wife has a bit of anxiety when it comes to full face helmets. She was pleasantly surprised with the comfort and fit of the Black flip-front helmet as there's a bit more room. I tried on quite a few, but I went with the Agrius. I was sceptical at first with the price being quite cheap, but Dave explained that they go through rigorous testing etc and I can't complain, so far so good. I would definitely recommend Ghostbikes for anyone looking for biking gear.

A small but important piece broke on the visor of my Shark evo one 2 helmet. It's just a small triangle that holds the visor onto the side piece. I came home from a ride and found the visor loose. I've never removed the visor but just clean it on the helmet so it wasn't a case of carelessness either. I contacted Ghostbikes who sold me the helmet and, at their request, emailed them photos of the broken part of the visor and the whole visor to show it was otherwise as new and hadn't met tarmac at any stage. They promised to take this up with Shark to claim a new visor. Within a week a new visor arrived in the post directly from Shark. I've no connection to either company other than being a satisfied customer but just want to give credit where it's due. Stephen, Belfast.
