Decided to give Andy a try as was begining to lose a little faith in dealership and was after a trustworthy service. Very happy with service Andy provided, took time to explain everything done, things to look out for in the future and overall seemed very thorough and have much more confidence in my bike now. A little gem of a motorcycle garage! Had a new front tyre today and Andrew (the owner) kindly gave the bike a complete check over for me also (as I had recently bought it privately second-hand). Both the owner and second mechanic were really friendly and made me feel very welcome, super quick work and the prices were very good value for money too. I can recommend very highly and will be returning for all my motorcycle servicing in the future. So great to see that these customer service focused companies still exist. Thank you Andrew, top man.

Absolutely fantastic service. I’ve got a couple of bikes that are well looked after by Galloway motorcycles. Great advice on parts recommended for the problem and all fitted and fixed professionally. Nothing is missed. The yearly or intermediate service is done to a high standard, plus any work I’ve needed from top to bottom on the bike these guys can do it and sort it. There is nothing they can’t do. I can’t recommend them enough to people but when they have used them they can see why we come back to them time and time again.

Andy performed an annual service including brake and coolant changes & MOT just before Christmas on my Yamaha Tracer. On collection, Andy went through a list of items including tyre pressures, tread depth, brake pads which demonstrated that these items had been checked and noted. Noticed on subsequent rides since the service, minor adjustments had been made to the bike which have improved the ride. All in all, a very good service experience and I would definitely recommend Andy..

The little details that make all the difference. Parts ordering can be slow, but anyone that knows bikes knows genuine parts are a pain to order so not really the fault of Galloway Motorcycles. Service good and attention to detail is even better. Would be nice if they had more courtesy bikes mind. Would be good to be able to manage the servicing around work hours. Happy to pay a little for this as it would be more convenient. Will use again and again and again.

Took my BMW R1200GS in for 18000 mile service. Andy was great, excellent communication throughout. Phoned me to inform me that the rear brake caliber was binding and asked if i would like it sorting out. Would recommend to anyone, great hassle free service. Many thanks :0)

I took my HondaCBR500R in for a full service and to get it ready for the winter commute. Galloway Motorcycles did way more then just check my bike and prepare it for the salty roads. I'm a relatively new rider so am full of questions. All of which were very patiently answered and I got some extra tips on how to improve and stay safe. Customer service was simply outstanding! Now about the service itself, or the results even. Bike only had 3000 miles on it when I bought it and from day one it felt like a super agile and fast little thing with great breaks and I was super happy on it. After the service I could barely recognise the thing I got back! It's been 2 months now and it still feels like it has loads more power then before, the breaks are much better and the overall riding experience has improved ( which I didn't think was possible since the bike was nearly new and always serviced ) I can honestly recommend Galloway Motorcycles to all riders who care about their bikes! This was the first time I've used GallowayMotorcycles and it happened to coincide with my 20k major Triumph service so it was an awful lot of work. My bike gets a fair bit of use with both touring all over Europe and Observing with TVAM so I need it in top condition. I'm very happy with the results, the bike rides as good as new and a couple of little issues it's had for a while have also been solved so I'm confident to recommend Andy and the team and I will definetly be back again.

Andy is a skilled mechanic, honest and fairly priced. I recovered my Motorbike to Andy's, but it had to be transported back to Triumph for a goodwill repair. Andy was really helpful in difficult circumstances, circumstances that weren't any benefit to Andy so his help and the fair bill is credit to his honesty & quality of service. Took my Suzuki to Galloway m/cs this morning after speaking to Andy on the phone for advice on a set of new tyres he was so helpful, that I booked in for him to order and fit said tyres. On arrival he made a point of coming out and greeting me and introducing himself with a nice firm handshake. He directed me to the nearest coffee shop and said he would phone me when work was done. 70 minutes later, after the bike had been road tested and given a thorough once over I was riding away. Excellent service from first phone call to paying the bill ,( less than quoted) I am very impressed and will certainly use galloways again, don't hesitate to use them, you will not be disappointed! Called Andy at Galloway motors last week for a quote on tyres, the price including fitting was cheaper than what i could find online so got myself booked in. Dropped bike off at 0830, place was easy enough to find on google maps, turned up and bike was straight on the ramp. Another chap turned up for an MOT and was waiting while another bike was getting heated grips fitted. I was chatting to him outside and he pointed out he has been coming here for the past 3 years, won't go anywhere else. Never has a problem and loves the attention to detail. I watched for a while as my tyre change included Andy taking notes on the bike and making sure things were good. Bike didn't need much, it got a spray of lube on the kick stand and a couple of bits that i was told are nothing to worry about. My chain was a bit tight so this was adjusted and i need to top up coolant. At no point was there a hard sell to get anything else done to the bike. I spoke to a main dealer for a price on an oil change/yearly inspection and they wanted 300 + . I asked how much these guys charge and they are a lot cheaper and I also suspect they are more thorough in their work. Funnily enough I recognised one of the other guys working and he used to work at Honda so I am more than happy the bike was in good hands. Been riding 3 years and was dubious about taking the bike to an independent after last time i booked it in for an MOT (Guy was wearing dress shoes) while looking for this place I spoke to a guy that wanted me to drop it to his house. Nothing wrong with that i suppose but I doubt he was going to take debit card and lube my kick stand . I was very happy with everything and happily parted with the cash knowing i wasn't getting fleeced. Should anyone decide to visit, this is a small garage, the guys pointed me in the direction of the coffee van but i opted to watch. took a photo for my mates and will use again. Cheers Guys.

After taking my Bandit 1250 to Andy to have new tyres fitted and balanced not only did he fit them but did a full safety check on the bike and a test ride after the new tyres were fitted. excellent customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

I bought a V.F.R.1200 last year and was over the moon with it until I got the dreaded Engine Management / limp home mode just before the bike was put to bed last autumn. I contacted Galloway motorcycles on Wednesday 7/3/18 thinking they'd take a few days to reply but no they replied so fast I owe them an apology for not answering their call. I shall make an effort to visit them tomorrow, 10/3/18 to get my pride and joy booked in for M.O.T. and have the E.C.M. problem resolved.

A most knowledgeable and conscientious service that is second to none in the area. I was going though some bad luck with finding a good motorbike mechanic, I am a member of a motorcycle group and a few of the another members said to try "Galloway Motorcycles", I asked them to carry out a full service on my Honda XL1000 and when i got it back it felt like i was riding a new bike, amazing, I have been riding for 15 Years now and i have never had this feeling after a service, very friendly and helpful to.
