I had let my R1 sit for months neglected, I wanted to get it back roadworthy but didn't know of a trusted mechanic to contact. I was given the details of Laurance from a work colleague and I was not disappointed! Laurance picked it up, gave me a comprehensive breakdown of works required and when complete dropped the bike back to me. I'm still unsure it's my bike, looked better than when I bought it and rides twice as well. Laurance is a very honest and trustworthy chap who logs works done with a string of photos etc. He goes above and beyond and I will be using his services from now on. If you need a great mechanic then McCanns is definitely a business to get in touch with.

Had an issue with my Yamaha Midnightstar 1300 not starting and desperately needed it fixed before my biking holiday to Scotland. Laurence was recommended to me as I could not get bike in at regular bike shop. Really impressed with Laurence's attention to detail with progress photos of work being done. Went above and beyond to get me back on the road in time for holiday. Laurence certainly knows his stuff. Will definitely use his services again.

We had recently moved house and was trying to find a trusted motorcycle repair/service and McCann's Motorcycles were recommended. We had two bikes, a Yamaha Midnight Star 950cc and a Honda Blackbird 1100cc to be fully serviced/Mot and health check and with a bit of electrical thrown in. Laurance collected the bikes, we had one done and then the other collected upon return delivery of the first bike. Laurance explained what he would do and checked over each bike with us discussing any issues we had with them. Each bike was returned looking and sounding amazing with full details of what had been done and photographs (which i loved) of each stage of the work. I am very fussy when it comes to my bike as safety is paramount and Laurance gave great confidence as he knew his stuff and the photos helped increase that confidence as i could see the work being done. The added convenience of having the bike collected and then delivered back was a huge bonus. I would definitely recommend!

Laurence collected my bike as arranged, carried out the repair, service, brake fluid change and MOT. When returning the bike he handed me a breakdown of the parts used, complete with various photo's of the works that had been carried out, and an itemised invoice. He went through everything that he done. Very knowledgeable and happy to help, even going the extra mile by cleaning my bike, a nice touch! I will certainly be recommending Laurence and continue to use his services.

Positive experience with both Hayden and Laurence helping resolve the front suspension of my GS1200R. Included stripping down, removing the ESA, sending it for refurbishment and while away using the biggest wrench I have seen to change the union joint, then reassembling the bike back to full working order. Laurence service was excellent, very professional, knowledgeable and a great attitude. Rather than just replacing fork seals and charging me for it on my MV F4, he inspected them properly and despite having collected the bike and bought the parts, he proved they did not need replacement. He took photo evidence for me and delivered the bike back next day. Real value for money! A genuinely decent guy and trustworthy, would definitely recommend trying him. amazing service, I never take my motorcycle anywhere else the attention to detail from both Laurance and Hayden at the garage is amazing. Their knowledge of japaneese/Italian bikes and other brands is second to none. Even though I have very limited knowledge of bikes these guys take out the time to explain everything! such as brands and quality upgrades. Keep it up guys I will be back!

After 18mths of restoring my bike, it needed its MOT and Laurence is the only guy I trust to take good care of it. Laurence picked up the bike on a time that suited me and kept me up to date with the MOT once it was done. Great price, highly recommend.

Great Guy: has fixed and serviced all my bikes over the years. Good rates. pick up and drop off .no hassle. Has taken my BMW back and forth from the shop in Bristol. Also at good rates. Also had tyres from him cheaper than bike shops fitted and balanced. friendly and knows his stuff.

I like (and prefer) to work on my motorcycles but there are certain things I won't attempt due to lack of time and skill. Fork seals blew on my commuter and I found Laurance totally by chance after my usual mechanic was busy and local dealership wanted far too much money! So grateful that I did. Top guy, obviously passionate about bikes and (rightly) proud of his business. Collected, completed and dropped off the bike within a day despite having loads on, provided a comprehensive invoice with pictures detailing the work which I can put in my folder (I love that!). He didn't even mind me giving him the torque settings for the various bolts! The work was clearly carried out to a high standard - everything re-greased etc. as I would have done it myself. Gave the bike a once over and suggested a couple of upcoming to dos - without any obligation or pressure. This is how a business should be run. Trust is everything and Laurance quickly earned mine. Absolutely recommended and wish you all the best as the business grows. Highly recommended and will use McCann's Motorcycles again.

Laurance is one of life’s good guys! I’ve only recently started riding so don’t really have a great knowledge of motorcycles. I am that person who could walk in to a garage and get stung £300 for something that should cost £20 and I wouldn’t know any wiser. Laurance came to the house to check out what was wrong with my fireblade and to see if it’s something that could be fixed at home or whether he needed to take it with him. Turned out to be a relatively simple fix for a fraction of the price the guys at Chiswick had intimated it might be. I’ve called Laurance on more than a few occasions, always answers the phone and always replies to texts. Always turns up on time and he clearly has a passion for what he does. He’s very professional and always turns up smiling. I won’t use anywhere or anyone else now, as I’ve found someone reliable and knowledgable for such good prices
