I too cannot rate Eric highly enough. After I bought my R1200GSA privately I had a major service from the local main BMW dealership to give it a once over. The main thing they found was the hole in my wallet! A year later I took the bike to Eric for its annual service. The bike came back from Eric feeling sharper, smoother and more responsive than it had since I bought it. And it cost me so much less than it would have done at the main dealer. Recently I had the rear shock refurbished by Eric when it failed. Again a super service at a very reasonable cost. When I picked up the bike in the evening it wouldn't start as the battery was flat. I had suspected the battery was on it's way out. Even though Eric had closed up for the day he opened up his workshop and replaced the battery there and then. Great service. Thank you.

I had an intermittent starting problem with my Honda Goldwing..., which was infuriatingly difficult to nail. Nevertheless, Eric took it on, recovered my bike (on more than one occasion), and helped me to get it sorted. Thanks Eric! :) I know you really want me to get a BMW, but thanks for sticking with it and helping me get back running again. I cannot rate ECM Motorcycles more highly, and look forward to continuing to use this excellent local service in the future.

Ecm is a clean organised workshop, he has a great knowledge of all bikes but his specialist subject with the BMW was amazing. I'm very thankful for his services with my GS 650f. Sourced the parts quicker than me using the VIN.. I am very thankful with the highest recommendation to all Bikers. Grade A

I called Eric as I was having a few issues with my Yamaha and he showed up as the closest mechanic. I'm pleased he did. I called late in the afternoon and after a quick chat and a bit of advice, Eric picked up my bike the next day. He managed to solve the issue and let me know as soon as it was done. The price I was charged was very reasonable and the quality of work good. Was pleasantly suprised that various cables and levers had been lubed and the bike rides better than ever. On top of this, has a good chat when I picked the bike up. Highly recommend ECM. Will return when I next need a service or repair.

Eric is a friendly and knowleable chap, but I would not use ECM again. After my last service I discovered that coolant was leaking from under the bike upon its return to me. I contacted Eric and there was some back and forth over email, but the issue was left unresolved. I ended up having to go to another bike garage who informed me that a filter had not been fitted properly. Eric also fitted some aftermarket brake discs for me which he assured me were of good quality. They rusted, and when I emailed Eric with pictures I got no response. This happened to be the same email chain regarding the leaking coolant. I never heard back about either issue when I asked when Eric could resolve them. I hate to leave a bad review, but I was left out of pocket after my last dealings with ECM and that's unacceptable. The rusted discs are the only part of the bike that look awful and are now affecting my trade-in value.

After going to other so called mechanics with a running fault was recommend to Eric. Turn up to be met but a very friendly and helpful Eric diagnosed fault there and then fixed in a day and back to me all at a very reasonable price. Can not thank Eric enough and recommend enough. Steve

I had my motorbike recovered by Eric because it wasn't starting. he didn't manage to fix it himself but her did take to the main dealer for me (charged for one hours work). I tried to call him few times after that to ask for quotes (MOT/ Tyres fitting etc.) but he never came back to me even that I have left my details.
