I visited Bedford Self Storage when moving into the area and needing to store my belongings until my house was ready. I had searched other storage companies in the area but they all seemed to lack the ‘personal touch’ and all those units I visited were more expensive. The units were exactly what I needed – secure (I had my own key), tidy, weatherproof and easily accessible (the proprietor was very adaptable regarding visits and was happy to open up on a Saturday afternoon and Sunday given reasonable notice. The one thing that stands out, in my opinion, is the fantastic service – nothing was too much and whenever visiting I was greeted with a smile. I thoroughly recommend Bedford Self Storage.

Being a Man and Van Removal Service in Bedford, I have been using Bedford Self Storage for over 10 years now. I find the owner Steve is very helpful in advising me on what size unit i will need for when i bring my clients belongings to be stored. This Storage Facility is very clean, well lit, and has great security and access no matter what day and time i need it. The main advantage i find is that its basically located on the A421 the road that connects the A1 and M1 motorways making it quick and easy to get too. Best Wishes NB Removals Bedford

Wonderful friendly, personal service at a very competitive price. The owner couldn't be more helpful, so thank you for making my storage issues so easy to manage. I also very much like that this isn't part of a chain (Big Yellow, Safestore etc) - nothing wrong with them per se but I would rather my money went to an owner managed business. Try Bedford Self Storage - they're really good (and, no, I'm not being paid by them!)

Does what it says on the tin really. Self storage rooms at the going rate. the owner is pleasant and knowledgable. Felt a little uncomfortable at the thought that if I wanted access at evenings or weekends it meant the owner having to give up his free time and come to meet me - also means you have to plan out of hours visits which didn't really work with our rather hectic moving schedule. The other thing which didn't quite tick the boxes was the massive dog who appeared to be molting everywhere around the building. My son has a dog allergy so we were a bit apprehensive about mattresses etc potentially getting hairs on while we carried them in & out. Much as we love to support local business, on this occasion we went elsewhere. Sorry!
