I wanted to post a review as I’ve been extremely happy with the service I’ve received at Storage King Bedford ….. the facility is beyond clean, easy to access 24/7 which in my case was needed and I felt safe when at the unit. The staff are also super efficient and make you feel particularly welcome especially Carol who dealt with my storage contract. I would have no hesitation using Storage King again should the need arise….. totally recommend!! Thank you!!

Carol from Storage Kings was clear from the first call and kind - important as I had just lost my job. No fuss, no need for constant texts, just straight forward and clear. It’s stressful, no? Packing, hiring a van and crew. Carol is well connected with removal experts and my business with Stirage Kings was effortless. Had an overall great experience with Storage King, Bedford. The initial follow up call from one of their team quickly established the size of unit I needed, and the 'book for two months, get the first month free' deal was perfect for my needs. Moving into the unit was smooth, and the induction explained everything I needed to know, with only a slight miscommunication / misunderstanding, that was wasn't apparent until I vacated the unit. The building is clean, spacious, and secure. The trolleys and lift were easy and safe to operate, and with 24 hour access, it suits all schedules. Note that you'll need to give them at least 14 days notice before you vacate the unit, so make sure you're clear on what date your renting of the unit runs out. The misunderstanding mentioned had me thinking I had the unit up to, and including the 30th, so when I gave notice on the 5th, I thought it was plenty of time, and said I wouldn't need it beyond that date, but it turns out it wasn't including the 30th, and was invoiced for another month! After a chat with Carol, who was extremely helpful, we'd cleared that up, and thankfully wasn't charged for the extra, unrequired rental. Excellent service all round, but just make sure you're clear on those dates to avoid any hiccups! Thanks Storage King!

So ..... we returned after 10 months and were treated to a sparkling service by Carol who arranged for us to have our old unit back which is still ....... sparkling clean! Thanks for an outstanding service!!! Post below was when we vacated in 2020 ..... Excellent service. I had a fair sized unit for two years while I was going through a lengthy renovation of my property. The unit was sparkling clean when I took it over and whenever my wife and I visited the office the staff could not have been more welcoming. I emptied the residue of what we had left and when I emailed to give the required two weeks notice I was informed that notice would not be necessary due the Coronovirus situation, so the charges were stopped immediately. Quite the reverse of what I thought could happen. Great service with a sympathetic approach. I would not hesitate to go back when I next need some additional storage. Thanks to all of the team in Bedford :-)

The guys were great. I needed storage as needed to get my flat emptied. They helped out, giving spot on advice and guidance. The pandemic was the backdrop, obviously, so they made me feel safe and there were clear guidelines for how to use the facilities safely. Im not happy that i made a solid point that I only wanted the storage for 1 month from 6th to 6th moved stuff out early and still being charged extra because of the 2 weeks notice. I emphasised when renting that it would not exceed the rented time and would more than possibly be leaving early. They would not waive extra cost.

I cannot express how good Charlie and the team are at Viking. I shopped around a little beforehand and initially went to another storage facility. However, when I arrived there were hidden costs that had not been advertised. Viking were very honest and open throughout the process and the only facility to excel with customer service. It's a storage centre, does what it says on the tin. Pretty boring so not really a great deal to write about it. You have 24hr access to the facilities and during the day there are staff on site to assist if required. First year of storage was the cheapest in Bedford when I signed up for it and they did offer the free use of a van for the day as a kind if sweetener. Took off one star as will review again once year is over if they offer me a good deal to stay with them, or if they decide to Jack the prices up.

Would previously have recommended this place as it's 24 hour access at a good price, but it had just been taken over and I'm not sure how this affects customers - they have changed insurers, but I don't know if this is more or less expensive than before. A bit of notice and some options would have been nice, but it seems this new company are the kind that just send out a notice telling you that this has happened and you will abide by the new terms......classic....

Easy access 24/7/365, very well lit inside and out. Clean, tidy and very well maintained. Run by humans, excellent security. Ladies and gents separate wash rooms also kept to a very high standard. Automatic main doors and shutters, heavy duty trolleys free to use. Smooth light grey painted and smooth floors - easy for sack barrows and trolleys even with solid tyres or castors. Based on my findings and experiences at other facilities I can honestly say that there is no comparison. I do not work for them. I have not been paid by them. This is the best storage facility in it's class that I have knowledge of and/or used myself.
